Sex test D0

#4, 1, and 3 (L-R) entering flower chamber. Hope these are hardened-off enough to flower.

In other news, #5 is not hardening off but I think it's female. And I can't find the other clone.
While trimming #4 clone...well I killed it.
Cuts are rooting in the Turbo Kloner for cuts #2 and 6.

Note to self: #2, #6 (front) not candidates, will be culled. One "melted" initially at cloning but has recovered now. Both feeding slow compared to the rest; limpy, smaller, #2 growing sideways.

After a week in flower, clones #1, 3, and 4 showing male. Cuts for #2, and 6 are in cloner, waiting for roots to pop; keep in mind, these two cuts are underperformers and will likely be culled. This leaves cut #5 as the only chance for flower in this bag of dicks.

Odds suckin right now

Yesterday, I posted the update then went on to cull plants. Today, I was surprised to find that I had culled all the starts I said I would eventually. Only #5 remains, as cuts for #2, and 6 attempt to sprout roots in the cloner. One of the two isn’t cooperating. And the more I stare at #5, the more…well it hasn’t popped a pistil as far as I can see.

Either way, I gotta re-clone #5 and transplant/harden off #6 as 2 will likely not root. Will take some time just to be out of transplant shock, looking at those roots.

Cut for #6 enters flower chamber today for sex test. Cut for #5 re-rooting in TurboKloner. Cut for #2 never struck roots.

Grim odds of having a female in cuts 5 and 6. Number 5 just looks male yet hasn’t popped a nut or a pistil. Number 6 will have to decide to grow, if it’s a female.

Unreal but I’m happy.

Cut #6, a runty plant, which was culled earlier for not being “growth minded”, is pushing pistils on the cut in flowering. This is the only female Time Bandit I have had thus far. Seed start is long gone, but I will nurture the clone in veg for some time.

The clone for #5, whose seed start remains alive, will enter the flowering chamber today. This plant is either a very solid female or a very solid male – no balls and no pistils yet.

Love the uncertainty of regs, all I grow these days. Sometimes it works sometimes not! At least it gets you popping more seeds! Fingers crossed for a fem.

Picture of #6, only female so far. I have one clone which will need to veg for a long while. The seed start was culled for this plant – can’t recall why exactly, but I think it was a slow feeder – hoping this cut makes it without issues.

#5 clone still in flowering chamber for sex test. The seed start for that plant is alive and wants to be transplanted, but need results first. I think I’ll pull it out to see if I see anything at all – whatever it is will be a late bloomer (i.e. solid) as is evident from the sex test.

At the moment, listening to my favorite podcast…#gr420. Here’s, finally, a picture of #5 tester clone at flower. I plan on transplanting the #5 seed start, from 1 to 10 gallon pots, and vegging for 70 days. Scheduling issues prevent flowering sooner.

#6 clone still vegging in a small clone cup…pretty sure this is the slow feeder but seems to be growing fine. I doubt this will be ready to flower anytime soon.

#5 clone is a female!

This towering mass is way overdue for new shoes.

Transplanted seed start #5, tried to super-crop…ended up snapping branches. Although I have a rooted copy of this, I took big cuts and stuck in the cloner. Oh well, it happens. This has 70 days to veg until flower space is opened up. Fingers crossed they make it.

I’ll put a cover crop and oat hay mulch in soon…which will require the use of AzaMax (to kill off the spider –mites in the hay). Today, needed to amino N+ some plants so my sprayer is in use.

See ya in a couple months folks!
