I know lofts grows can be a problem heat wise ............... you doing great i have to say your plant looks miles better then mine did and a much better haul to look forward 2 from my eyes

This is mighty fine and I would be proud of that. Just compare it to street weed mate @ £50 for 3.5 grams and that makes you a winner without even considering the pure joy of growing it yourself. I love it...

Mine is getting bigger but still no sign of any frosty-ness like yours - I think I BROKE it ;o)

Going to list the potential mistakes I have already made for my own reference:-

An update on the original list of mistakes as I may as well learn from my mistakes and hopefully help someone else in the process...

• Removed the seed casings before ready - step away from the plant - leave it alone ;o)
• Pre-soaked the Jiffy cubes in RO water?
• Jiffy cubes still remain wet after 10 days (maybe overdid the pre-soaking?)
  
• Thought the optimum pH level was 6.0 and fucking kept to that - adjusting daily - bad Minty... I now let it drift from 5.8 to 6.5 during flower (thank you BillyBob).
• 24/7 Light is probably fine unless the plant is stressed out anyway - this is how I killed the sister plant I reckon - cut all her roots off and stick her under an Invisible Sun LED. Mmmm...
• Let the roots grow into the 'return' pipes - flooding the tent - luckily I have that pool and it helped with Humidity loads ;o)
• Had no idea how much water capacity I was actually dealing with and in hindsight was at least 20 litres short so all my dosing has been way out

Those on top of being a Boomer Noob ;o) Meant I had no idea between EC and PPM and to be honest only recently worked out my HydroBox is in PPM mode and I need to switch it to EC mode which is just sending it an ASCII string from the terminal - but I need to get it down from the loft to do that #FuckAutomation ;o)

Wow minty love it but you have made it hard if you now want to insulate the loft. The correct way to do it would be strip the loft out insulate the whole loft with 150mm kingspan or celetex then board it. As you have it now a option would be to insulate the tent as best possible. On another note that Auto plant is going to beast by the end.

Sorry K-Bag, I did originally reply to your post before moving on to MrNice - it must have been swallowed by that shitty posting bug where you have to click submit twice - I fucking hate that because it's always the long post's where you took ages to type it all out that get fucked because while you have been typing it all up, someone else has posted... Apologies mate, I will type it all out again ;o)

The video was taken to show Keeno what sort of area I was dealing with as we had already spoken about the CeleTex (I will look into the Kingspan) and this is mostly of the back of me wanting to insulate the loft ever since Josh told me to (that dude has a talent of answering my questions, two months before I even ask them - I love Josh - he is my lucky buddy and makes things work out in my head - all be it a little later)

The plan is to fill in between the roof joists with 100mm Celetext or similar and put Rockwall/earthwall behind that to fill the gaps, with the extra I will pad the top and left side of the tent.

The area over by the water tank (on the left) I will be boarding the floor (Well my mate Willy will be) and sticking the GQ60 tent in that spot. I will have to move the water tank into the space to the left as you enter the hatch (if that makes sense) -

Well in terms of me plant have to say im not happy with the results only got 46.89gees like GPW 0.97
only got the ish 150 pro upto 48w at the wall before she started showing leaf serrating from too much light GMO spotted it Thumbs upto him
im bit embarrassed to share the info 46.89gees like GPW 0.97

Wow yr street stuff is like dam prices "£50 for 3.5 grams" ..........max i pay £200 lowest can get £130 but thats bout 40min drive to get I toke bout a 1/4 a week so will run out before the melons are done

Mr Minty your plant is going very well frosty-ness will come on a bit later may be thats also dependent on strain ive noticed i had a green crack that was very frosty. I reakon you ll have 3 to 5 zips when done dry

O can i ask how much lux shes getting at the top mint trying to work out how much to give and whats too much think GMO says 500umols like 25000Lux is max with out gving co2 supp last lux reading i took was about 18000 lux at 48w i think

Yh i know Lux measurement is not for leds but we all dont have quantum meter in our back pocket so much dosh for one

Just had a quick flick through and what an amazing system will be having a proper read through at some point definitely interesting but I'm not sure I could part with my time with them love sitting, chilling with my ladies
