Strange because I plant all the same, to the middle of my index finger. about 2" deep. Hope you are right.
This is to deep imo mate. I normally use a pen to make the hole and depth hole is dependant on tap root length, but i like to cover the seed shell with about a cm of coco or soil. So basically tap root facing down then cover with a cm of soil/coco. Occasionally i get it to shallow anything and the seed husk sticks to the cotyledons, rather go to shallow than deep.
Well shit...that's not good!!! I am probably doing no good to the plants. Should I dig up the small seedling and preposition or just leave it?
To leave them is a chance you take or you could try uncovering them very gently, until you can just see the head of the seedling. Either way there is risk mate.

Well now that I know they are planted too deep, that is a risk of its own and may just die and dry out.

I would rather take the risk of lightly uncovering until I see the head and get her started and standing. Will just fill around stem as she grows.

Hopefully she is not yellow like the last one. This will be interesting morning after work.

Will be sure to update you all. Thanks again for the help and tips guys, you been great!!

Hey again everyone!

So a update on the seeds that never sprouted.

The Auto Speed Bud seed is a no go. I was lightly removing the soil and she was nowhere to be found. She went to the bottom and that's all I can do. Got another one started that should be ready for planting tomorrow or the day after. Won't be planting as deep this time.

The Gorilla Glue #4 that was not sprouted was buried under the coco. She was about 1" deep. After removing some of the coco I found her with the seed still attached. so covered her very lightly. Came back later the day she was above but the seed was weighing her down. I gently pulled the shell off and the 2 leaves opened up.

Here is a photo after removing the shell...

Here is the GG#4 the next day...healthy start!

The King Tut is doing well. She is rapidly growing each day and I am having to tuck leaves every night now. Flowering has still not started which I am pleased with to give time for colas to catch up to the top of the canopy

The 2 Kush Plants (Kushy Kush & Special Kush #1) were growing a little sideways. I believe they are chasing the LED light with the blue. I have the plants moved and turned so they can grow straight and not sideways. I expect the growth to be fixed in a few days or less

And here we have a shot of the whole family. There is another in the making, its the Speed Bud so she will get tossed in when germination is complete

Thats all I got for now!

Smoke 'em if ya got 'em

Good morning everyone! Just swinging by with a little update of whats happening in the room. The Auto Speed Bud from Female Seeds was supplied by Germination Station. Planted this little girl yesterday and today she poked her head through. Much better results than the last time. Crazy how something so small can grow into something so amazing!

The King Tut Autoflower has been doing great things over the past few days. I gave her a good feeding yesterday and today I will provide just plain water to her.

Here are a couple photos over a 24 hour period before I tucked her leaves and how much she has grown since then. 24 hours...unreal..i am impressed by her so far.

Take a look at the stock supporting the plant. Not a bad size for the size of the plant. She has knuckles on joints and is showing off her muscles!

Another view of the whole family together! The kush plants in front are doing great, the Gorilla Glue #4 in the back left is healthy and growing great, and now we wait for the Auto Speed Bud to run down the pack!

24 Hours Later

Got some beans in the mail this week as well. The remaining of my winnings from here, and my order from Germination Station. Can't wait to try these out in the next grow!

That's all I got for now! Smoke em if ya got em!

Good morning everyone!

Took a few photos yesterday and never had a chance to upload/update this. Will probably have a few more today if I see any progress on any of the plants.

Tut is going strong
2 Kush Plants are healthy and growing great!
Gorilla Glus #4 is doing her thing and will get where she needs to be
The baby Auto Speed Bud has poked through and is getting her roots established before takeoff!

Have a great day!

Morning everyone!!

Got another update from the room today for ya all to check out.

1st up I wanna show you a photo of the Speed Bud seed. Yesterday she was standing fine and looked very healthy. Today however is a different story. She looked almost shribbled today but was standing. This one is in soil, the soil is not dry, and was not watered in a few days because of the moist medium.

The LED light is well above the plant, but the plant leaves look to be doing something I never seen on my plants at this stage before. Any ideas?

Gorilla Glue #4

Special Kush #4 from above

Special Kush #1 from the side

Kushy Kush from above

Kushy Kush from the side

King Tut Autoflower from above, lots of growth and healthy. Decided to do some tucking because she has just entered flowering stage. Pistils are visible on top of bud-sites. I tucked some leaves today and also gave her a good feeding

King Tut leaves tucked

Opened up for the start of flower, get that light in there!

King Tut in the tent

Thats all for now folks...smoke em if ya got em!

Looking good in there Island.

As for the seedling, it's not something I can say I've seen before, almost looks fungal related? The normal issues are ruled out, overwatering, light to close, it doesn't look as though it's suffering because the soil to hot.

I'm sure someone will be in soon who will be able to help more.

Yeah I thought about that too but I dont think that is the issue. In the photo it looks like its white or some other color, like you I never seen it before. I wouldn't have used soil if I had more coco left. I am hooked on that stuff, my 1st time growing it and I just LOVE it, especially having more control over my plants, something that is limited with soil.

Anyways...if anyone out there can offer a hand it would be fantastic!!
