I think the picture highlights the massive variation in growing styleViz wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 3:08 pmGoing to be another good grow Bulls.
To continue our discussion on size of tent and number of plants for optimal output. A 1 x 2 m tent does give you additional options very true. Looking at your images I see that you have pots next to each other. Effectively that means each plant at BEST has 50cm of width to fill and grow in. Include in your calculation the brain pot taking up space another couple of cm's for sure. Which does leave 50 cm x 50 cm for each plant. You are an exceptional grower so please do understand I am saying you are doing anything wrong or suggesting that you will not have a great harvest. I merely wonder how effective the current practices are. You are growing exactly as per current best practice standards I believe. I however think that you get more per tent if you have fewer plants and allow those plants to fill the space effectively. Fewer plants = fewer resources and more time for each individual plants.
Here is my Tan Dream. The tent size is 120 x120 x200 Typically I grow two plants in this tent size. But because this girl got a fortnight extra veg she got the tent to herself.
7 days before flip.
My ideal tent size - this includes optimal conditions for environmental control and allocation of resources - 120 x 80 x 200. Two plants fit perfectly and they fill that tent to the brim.
I will post an image of the Tan Dream 10 days after flip and share how she has filled the tent. Basically there is no way for two or more plants to be in that tent. What do I expect to harvest? Well this is my 14th Tan Dream grow so I am pretty sure what kind of return to expect. Nothing less than 500g from that plant. Dry!
bulls is obviously working at a homogeneous canopy which is proven to improve the amount of available usable light upto 25% per bud head
the light type would have made a difference previously but now imho the difference will be average quality not yield size in regards to the two growing methods. also potentially time and Kwh per plant if you wanna split hairs. filling a space faster with more plants obviously uses less leccy than a 3 month veg of a single at the same watt
lots of factors to be considered
