Re: Josh's hempy adventure
Day 5 flower
Ok folks, about time for these pom poms to start forming

I have to say that I'm very excited to see these ladies flower, I have a feeling the hempy method is going to do me well as long as I keep them flushed and don't over-do the nutes
So far in my very limited growing experience I've run soil and dwc, but this perlite/vermiculite is about as easy as it gets my friends. No need to worry about bugs, ph fluctuations, etc. Just feed with every water and watch them go
.5 ml/L silicate
1/2 strength ionic bloom
Ec reads around 1.2-1.3, but I've stopped checking tbh. I'll raise or lower the feed depending on how the plants look
Unfortunately this will be my final grow for a while, time to start a new chapter in life and move out of this piece of shit apartment
Hoping to have a house with some property by next year though, looking forward to using that massive green qube tent and doing some outdoor plants also
Good things come with patience I guess
Until next time
Be easy my friends

Re: Josh's hempy adventure
Day 14 flower
Plants have slowly started to yellow from the bottom up, looking like they need some nitrogen asap. Ph'd some plain water to 5.8 and the runoff was 7.5!!
Went ahead and flushed about 20 liters through each one until the runoff was 6.0, then gave a feed of 1.2 ec with bloom nutes (3/2/6 NPK) and 5 ml per liter calmag. The calmag has some nitrogen in it also.
Also quit using silica, think that may be why the ph is rising
Fingers crossed, would like my final grow to actually turn out well
Also made the move in my taller tent, along with the 600 watt led and 1000 watt hps. I'll be running it at 600 though.
Excited to see the results from the hps/led combo

I just watered 2 days ago and it isn't getting any better.DJ Smokey wrote:Mon the Fluff Josh however they need a few good rich feeds to get them back on track always at this stage the plant switches on you and its needs change couple of grow feeds will help for sure
Might hit them with the grow feed at 1.5 ec, what do you think?
