I would have liked to have taken these to 10 weeks, but I am being hassled to get a asbestos inspection completed so I think I will be chopping in 2 weeks, as I will have to clear everything down again :(

Yeah its a bit of a shame with these, the breeder says 8 weeks and I have read a few reviews on the Humboldt site where people have chopped at 8 weeks.
I would have liked to have taken these to 10 weeks, but I am being hassled to get a asbestos inspection completed so I think I will be chopping in 2 weeks, as I will have to clear everything down again :(

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
Good morning Sam! As usual, very nice video update from yours buddy thank you!
Plants have grown massively for 6 weeks. I remember you saying you're going to take these around the 8-9 week mark, so I guess not long left now to flush?
Looking at the video you can clearly see the different phenotypes. Even in plants colour you can tell some are preferring lower feed than others but it is what is when growing from seed, you never know what you're getting in the pack :) The foxtailing is very interesting, I remember Smokey having something similar on one of his previous grows, really weird. End of the day as long as it's frosty, matured and get's you high you're into a winner

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
Hi Bulls,
Cheers fella, yes looking at the video you can defintely see the front left plant is a different pheno, maybe even the front right as well, its hard to tell with the plants all interwoven in my small tent.
The back two plants are both still nitrogen rich, with those shiney dark green leaves clearly visable, and I think have a bit more to give.
I have started leaching the feed, so at the minute the EC has dropped back to 1.0, and I am not going to top it up. Next feed I shall start it at 1.0 and let it drop for the week, then chop the the front one or two, but leave the back 2 plants for an extra weeks flush, with just plain water.
I think this is my best plan of action, I took a little taster bud off the front right plant on Friday, I wasnt expecting much tbh as that was dead on 6 weeks from flip, but it was actually a very pleasant smoke and very tasty, even thou it wasnt flushed.
So I reckon it will be 8 weeks for one or two plants, then 9 or 10 weeks with the others, like you say mate this is the joys of growing from seeds, its one of the downsides with feeding from a reservour as well.
I think this is the best way to maximise both quality and quantity with these plants.
Any advice thou is always greatly appreciated!
Thanks for looking in fella :)

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
Hey bud, as mentioned the back too look N rich but your sorting that.
TBH i dont think thats foxtailing but prolonged stretch likely due to the cold temps mate. they are hairy as hell but the buts just have no mass where that look to have spent so much energy growing out. i hope they fatten up mate but they gonna need alot of time of thats gonna be a very very airy harvest imo
i hope i completely wrong but it juust doesnt look right mate and its across all plants. its just that front on has continued further than the rest

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
You maye be right mate, I reckon the cold may well have caused that stretch, lesson learnt lol, I will have the heater in the tent whole grow next time, I dont think it will make a huge difference thou, and if the bud is airey then it will do for oil :)
The back plants dont have it as bad, so it may also be pheno relevant as well, really hard to tell :(

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
Hi Folks,
Sorry forgot about an update on Friday, so it an all in one again today, so changed the reservoir last Wednesday, so will be due another change tomorrow.
So last week I dropped back on my EC and fed as below:
EC - 1.0
Ph - 6.2
50ml Ionic Bloom Hardwater
50ml PK 4/10
I am starting to leach the feed from these plants now, due to empty jars, I will need to chop one plant this weekend, but I plan on letting the other 3 go to 10 weeks :)
So heres the pictures, I havent done comparrison pictures now, as with supports and stuff everything has moved around anyways.

So will be feeding them low and slow again this week into next, then they will go on a 7 to 10 day flush :)
Hope everyone has a good week :)

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
They are a bit whispy on the top couple of inches, but then pretty solid after that, as GMO and Smokes said I am pretty sure that was down to the lights off temps :(
Its a bit of a shame but I dont think there is any overall damage and now I have the heater in there they are looking better :)
