Just so I have this right in my head..so do you wet the coco enough for run off? When I wet the coco last time, I ran 5l through 15l pots..which drenched them. My thoughts are that if they are too wet..then it can drown the plants. I guess it's because I use 100% coco...and just pebbles at the bottom?
Unless im out and about then I`m watering my plants daily at moment cus they are really big & in full bloom and they roughly get about 2.5 - 3 ltrs daily to a bit of run off, but if i feed every few days they take around 4 ltrs each to a little run off. I use a watering can and slam it through pots as fast as i can so its not much messing around tbh. In fact tops of my pots are flooded like a swimming pool by time I've slammed water through until it starts to drop, i like seeing the flooded tops cus i like to think it works like piston pulling in fresh air and pushing out stale crap air, whether it works that way or not feck knows tbh but i like thought of it and cant why it wouldn`t. I get a little run off from doing that but not much at all, but i would say its enough, if it isn't ill just give a little more next day. I don`t start sweating on it if i dont get any run off or if i get way too much, ill adjust next feeds ie: less or more. Only time i dont really get a bit of run off is when im doing the small pot thing with young plants. Which remind me my cuttings need 50ml each asap.
Just remember how you grew the big sherbet one your on with now. If your get lost you can always relate back to that grow or ask a question, jobs a good en Wu.
