I meant that I agree with your advice for 'him to do it' lol - I posted before realising there was another page and he had already responded ;O)

Re: Minty Animal Cookie Grow Diary - Dex's Special
I did go ahead with the 'additional topping' as fuck it - I wanted to see what happens ;o)
The plant seems more than healthy enough and I do need to stall her so they can both hopefully sync for a final couple of weeks of settling in with no messing before flipping them both:-
I was trying to explain to @Jet-Set-Willy how to keep them low so made the following images:-

The lagging plant will obviously stay at 8 stems otherwise I will have to slow the main plant down to 28 stems and that ain't happening ;o)
Looking at the current growth etc we are definitely looking at the same scenario as the WaterMellonWeddingCakes with the back plant probably going to be doing better than the front plant...

It's Christmas, your supposed to be #Faffing ;o)

- Green/White - indicate where the plant has been topped (mostly in equal distances etc)
- Red/Yellow - indicates where I failed and snapped the stem being trained!
- Yellow/Black - indicates hopefully the final Cola Stems that will eventually be trained down to equal levels

Re: Minty Animal Cookie Grow Diary - Dex's Special
As a reference of how not to do it I hope! You really want a reference with all nodes intact ;o)
Started training her down a little (well a little more gently than last time) and I also got a RAM humidifier for £30 from Amazon and it kicks arse even on the lowest setting so I will be modifying it to contain a float and be self filling etc eventually :-

Re: Minty Animal Cookie Grow Diary - Dex's Special
Day 50 Update
After checking them and seeing how uneven the growth is etc I decided to 'TRIM/DEFOL' them down to nothing so that no stem is getting more 'energy' than the others at the minute. I think the roots are going to be more than capable of handling such a serious defol so decided to RESET them ALL (I left one originally damaged leaf at the back as that node is already lagging due to the damage):-

Also left a branch that has been attempting to grow from the main original stem and will decide what to do with this later as potentially the middle of the plant will be 'free space' if the mainlining goes correctly...

2nd (8 Node) plant is doing alright and catching up:-

Current Stats:-

Re: Minty Animal Cookie Grow Diary - Dex's Special
I would say no mate, plenty of other ways to get the same result quicker but it is something I wanted to try and I am in no rush to harvest etc.
LOL mate, it looked worse than it was and they seem to be doing fine:-
