Re: Chiesel under HPS
Real nice mate. These parabolic shades are strange for me using em for the first time. The light you get hitting the plants obviously does the job, proof is in your grows. I just couldn't see it given you wont grt a same wattage bulb in standard reflector anywhere near as close as you do with these. Live and learn for me though. I also couldn't see em being cooler than my cool shade, I think they may well be.

Re: Chiesel under HPS
I hope you guys do not think i was knocking Bulls grow. I was just trying to point out that some of the paling was due to the light. I have known Bulls for few years now and tbh i can not remember him ever having a bad grow.
Also i was trying to give my opinion as to why leds produce more trichromes.
Some will say its the uv lights used i tend to lean more to they run cooler and the heat is more even with less hotspots.
I would certainly love to have Bulls plants in my groom with or without the light bleaching.

Re: Chiesel under HPS
Good morning mate . Strange the are , very true. I think the HPS bulbs positioned horizontally under a normal shade produce more heat than when vertical. Pointing a fan at the bulb helps a lot with spreading the heat too.Keeno wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 12:57 amReal nice mate. These parabolic shades are strange for me using em for the first time. Hello Jason! Very nice to see you around mate.. THank you
Hhaha, thanks Smokey!
I very much doubt someone will think that buddy. I love a good talk :) While light running at a good temps for that distance from the plants, it's too intense to be that close. Penetration is awesome though. But you can clearly see the proper coverage of the light as leaves are nice green colour still in the corners of the tent. When I change my tent on next grow, I will be having the filter outside and hopeuflly will have some more headroom.kbag wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 4:23 amI hope you guys do not think i was knocking Bulls grow. Good Morning
Www.GrowRoom420.com
This will be my final update before chop day. These girls will be on plain water as of today and will be chopped at some point in about 10 days :) Everything is lookging good in there now. Once flush begins stems will start getting weak and buds will be even heavier so I'd expect some colas to go south.
Thank you all for watching & catch you on the flip side
