Post by HaydenR4238 »

This set up is absolutely taring through my electric so I’ve decided to change to daylight saving hours and set the timer for 11 hours of light. Should make a noticeable difference if I’m honest. It’s just too much for me to pay consistently weekly unfortunately especially at this time of year!

With less hours of light I believe the plants will mature faster as well so will definitely be thinking about harvesting in 3 weeks. Need to start saving for Christmas! be nice to have some nice smoke to keep the stress levels at a minimum. Hopefully still hit my 8oz goal though.Image

Yeah similar mate 100w but only running 250 on the other. You would think I was running 400 though! I’m going through about £55 a week electric all in at the moment!

You should easily get quite a bit more than 8oz from those just looking from where I'm sat @HaydenR4238 if you let them finish up properly. Remember they pack up to a 3rd of their final weight in those few weeks or so. :boogie:

Yeah that’s been playing in the back of my mind! Just hoping they are just about there when the time comes. Should manage to push them out long enough for a good result

I’m such an idiot. My outside light has been on for weeks now, it’s not motion censored so it’s just been stuck on 24h a day. I couldn’t see it was on during the day and only ever seen it at night obviously. It just dawned on me that it’s probably using a lot of power and much to my disgust it’s been using 500w 24h a day my entire cupboard is barely running 400w 12h a day.

At least I know where all my electric is going! Thankfully it’s only been on for 3/4 weeks and not the whole time could of had my 400w bulb in that whole time and still wouldn’t have been costing as much, don’t even get many visitors complete waste of electric. Not happy whatsoever
