All the lights seem to be doing a good job for you with these plants and from what I'm reading here the lesser powered latest tech light is holding its own pretty much bang on with rest, that`s really impressive. Your doing a cracking job with these Keano, much kudos to you y`as . :running-around:
Im a little in awe of the lower power lights thus far @2-Scoops. They are throwing every rule of thumb ive used out of the window. Still a ways to go but atm they are doing the business.

my word keeno you are doing smashing! im sure what your seeing is what i been telling folk for a while since i got my quantum board of @Forest that led output at the actual leaf/plant esp when young and or weak it is too intense even though not visually bright as say an mh or hps is and without the heat i reckon its to easy to both have the light closer than is ideal and at an intensity damaging to photo cells, hence the smaller light making healthier plants sometimes it takes a few runs to understand the difference when going from hids esp.
my moneys on the test light! :nice: :thx:

Day 34 Flower

Feed at this point consists of 1.5ml per Canna Coco A and B per and 1ml Vitalink Buddy per liter, PH set to 6.2.

These pictures were taken yesterday. Tomorrow is day 35 flower.

I've started heavy defoliation. I like to leave it till week 4-5 as any stress caused by this point cant do too much damage in regards to a hermy. Ill be taking around half a carrier bag of leaves from the grow daily now for a good week.

A note on the strain. I re-vegged these clones, sometimes this can have a good or bad effect on the stain IMO. These have definitely had a positive effect, the smell is insanely sweet, almost sickly sweet. The resin is a pain in the arse to get off if I accidentally rub against a plant. But the difference I'm seeing this run as opposed to the last 2 is the speed of flower. Looking at these I honestly think I could harvest at week 7. I won't be and will do my normal 9.5-10 week flower, starting the flush in around 3 weeks.

I'm not expecting baseball bat-sized colas on this grow, I've gone instead with loads of smaller heads. I believe this is the best way to make the most of a LED system designed to give full and even coverage. Exposing far more bud surface to the lights and enviroment. The buds themselves are rock solid and already falling over. with 5 weeks to go this could get all kinds of fun trying them up

So far Im of the opinion that the test bars will not only compete with the higher powered lights next to them but will beat them on aroma, resin production, and yield. Still, a long way to go...
Wow

Taking frantic notes for when I start my own a and b grow. Think I'll look at the buddy too, seems everyone I listened to speak of it, has confidence in it.

Nice plant that critical. 👌

 Damn Keeno, if I send you some seeds will you grow them out for me

Just the thought of defol and trimming all that is making my back hurt. Don't envy you on that front.

Why do you give Pk from the start of bloom?
Is it a canna nutrients thing ( I don't know the range )? A trade secret?

Final Update

Sorry for the lack of updates towards the end of this diary, my health took a bit of a battering but im on the mend and can finally wrap this up. Forst off ill talk about the strain. The old faithful Critical did not fail to impress yet again. The longer veg to get more tops above the net did mean the buds/colas were not as big but there were far more of them. Being the Critical these top were all solid. I ended up losing around 10 tops to mold, this was a combination of high humidity and not being well enough to be up there as often or for as long as id like during the last 4 weeks. Despite losing the tops this was a record-setting yield, ill get to the exact numbers in a bit as I think Invisible Sun wants to do a comp with the results.

The main idea with the more tops on the plants was to achieve more surface area exposed to the lights and environment. In my opinion, this is very important to get the most out of the resin production and cannabinoids present. And after a test run, this bud for weight has produced more oil than any other strain I've grown including this exact clone strain under the same light. It's a little bit longer to do but 100% has achieved the outcome I wanted to see.

The strain itself produces a sweet pungent aroma that has some real old-school funk to it. The sweetness is literally like sugar, a glycerine type smell. It's sweet throughout veg and flower but by week 5 it's a beast. Resin production is mad, the heads of the trichomes are so large the shape is clearly visible to the naked eye. It's a slimer, similar to only the agent orange that I've grown. Rubbing against the plant will leave a slime trail during flower. When handled as harvest it's a light sand color that's grainy in texture. When slightly agitated it turns to a caramel like texture that stays, I've got finger hash from the trim that's been left out for 3 weeks and is still like caramel. I cannot wait to do a hash run with the trim from this one.

The plants in my opinion were ready for harvest as early as week 7 of flower. I ran them 10 weeks as I always like to overcook the plants. They gor a full 15 day flush.

If my health hadn't had got in the way i think could have got a fair bit more from this growth despite it being my biggest to date. Things like tying up the tops and clearing the undergrowth would have made for a more productive end result. The new diary is about to go live and a proper review of the ISH X Bar will get its own topic.

Total weight for the full grow and the test plants will be posted soon.

What I will say before the full review and weights are revealed is that if I had the money Id replace every light with the ISH X Bar today.

Cheers @Rassensi. I'm seriously impressed with the like and strain. The next lot is ready to rock n roll. If id been able to get a 2nd net in and have a tidy up late flower they would have done more. Solid genetics from Dinafem and the lights speak for themselves.
