Re: Multi-strain outdoor grow in super soil mix
Was a beautiful night last night and the girls got some great growth going. I’m a bit more worried about the caterpillars now because they are growing quickly in size and number. Considering using some diatomaceous earth from the lab but I’m not sure if I should use the filter grade stuff? I don’t know if it is different enough to matter to be honest so I’m also ordering a bit.
Soil mix this year has been very hot, I’ve also been very lazy/disabled and haven’t been checking things like I should be. Everything is going ok other then a few instances of over feed from the soil alone. I blame the compost I think it’s quite hot and I should of watered it down with happy frog instead of ocean forest.
I think I’m just gonna feed ACTs and too dress but will see how sick my girlfriend gets of helping me lol But it’s killing me not spending as much time enjoying them as I normally do. Our indoor growing is so stressful sometimes that I like to get back to basics and just enjoy the plant when I’m working on my backyard crop. I’m hoping recording it a bit here will help me pass the time and get the most out of this grow :)

Re: Multi-strain outdoor grow in super soil mix
Brought up a chemdawg, CBDurban and La Chocolate to check for any buds and clean up the chocolate a bit. My mantis population has finally killed off the dam larva and caterpillar, this is the first good random full search I’ve done that’s turned up nothing
fuck yeah. So bio control will remain on the defence for now :)
Cleaned up a bit of prior damage from wind and bugs and cleared out the lower nodes a bit of LA
Beautiful day here
enjoying the time with my girls

Lol I normally try and keep my gross toes out of pics but it’s hard sitting down getting good shots when the cast won’t fit under my dam chair lol

Re: Multi-strain outdoor grow in super soil mix
So I’m a lazy bastard and didn’t get my transplants done today. Father’s Day party tomorrow and then doing my transplant and a ACT feeding Sunday morning before it gets hot.
Going to do a basic tea mix, molasses, worm castings, humus and gypsum triple mix, myco, oats and some yard waste. Plants are being up potted into 7 and 15 gal pots, planned to use 15 and 25 but with me being off my feet all summer and having over 20 ladies I’m trying to keep them a bit smaller this year by reducing pot size.
Soil mix is gonna be some ocean forest in the bottom, happy frog, ocean forest and my home mixed soil/compost plus a good helping of perlite. Pretty hot mix but they seem to like it, especially in flower!
Here’s a family photo!!! They aren’t thirsty lol just weighed down because it stormed and then I sprayed them bitches with a hose like it was The Whiskey A GoGo

Re: Multi-strain outdoor grow in super soil mix
***sorry about the sideways pics, didn’t up load first to fix****
Got some ladies to introduce, Apricot Sour D, Strawberry Sucker Punch and BlackBerry TKO as well as two Chemdawg phenos!
So we got by the other place today. We had decided to do a few outside here this year because....weed right?
and then I fucked my elf and we stopped getting here :s
Luckily we’ve had perfect weather with good rains up here and my woman is amazing and came and out cages up incase it gets to windy :) they are all in a super soil mix I make in 16” 3’ deep augured holes that also allows for access to the water table or in large 20” nursery containers. Pumped to catch up with the ladies! Hopefully will get by to do some work and see them more often lol
We decided as an experiment to put some of the same cuts in the ground here and compare it to potted plants under similar conditions [So we decided as an experiment to put some in ground here and compare it to potted under similar conditions
