The fungus gnats try to get into the rio coco they really like it. Covered that pot with boiled river sand.

Sprayed them girls foliage with spinosad a and b mix , hit the soil enough to saturate lightly.

Hard water at 1.0 EC 1.1 after the charcoal water filter and recommend additions of nutes EC turns out between 2.6-2.8 EC with a pH @ 6.2

They seem happy. #GR420

Iteration of the dli , on these lights is for a full 24 hrs of index time a bit of over kill at 52 DLI. As that is 2 lights . Par is 700 + at 25 inches from canopy. Right now the girls are about 32 inches.

Trying to get used to calculating my light and delivery in a 4 x 4 ,bit different as things are hotter ,good moister ,ok, faster really good . Just need to dial in this ratio . So the nights about 67 f. Mornings about 77 f - 83 f daylong about 81 f - 85 f.

Increasing the feed per month for the autoflowers up to 1.6= 2.7-2.9 we shall see how much they can eat soil will be different.

SOIL. This blend is seasoned investment soil I've grown 6 other auto flowers and a few of them were previously in this pot ... my first cream cookies autoflower journal was done in this pot with this soil the O.G.Kush currently resides there and she is showing proof of legacy soil , amended with a fermented sst from corn and fed left sided amino acid chelated nutes to attempt to preserve the battery of life in the soil but still have active uptake by the plant I could be cooking this shit I'm still learning.

CREAM COOKIES :
This auto is in a auto pot of sorts I'm observing root structures and exploring a couple of ideas about taproots and the correlation between the size of the roots to the size of the plant "as it is below, so shall it be above".

So far I've got an auto bruce banner#3, and a auto haze each in an auto pot made from a 1 gallon water jug cut in half and the lid perforated and filled with soil shown below is a couple of pics of these broke ass auto pot wannabes. The blue wrapping is all about keeping algae from growing and destroying the pH of the water basin , very important.

They seem to work well with certain strains..

if you look at the long root in the pic how the roots shoot out strait across like a T , those roots are considered optimal , a really good sign ...testing continues..

Yes and no , I've noticed that the off color roots seem to be impervious to light and heat damage and the white roots are easily harmed by any agitation really they grow fast too, tho the main focus is truly upon the tap root at the bottom in the core of the pot where we see optimal structures. So in all the light isn't really killing anything as I also have a floor fan I think it might be helpful in regulating temperature in the soil. The most damage in this system seems to come from mismanagement of the water basin like growing algae, makes acidic water conditions ,no braino ...

Ok makes sense buddy, when I’m cloning into solo cups i like to use a clear one as my pot and then put a red cup over it to block out light pollution but I’m mostly worried about the lateral branching roots on new clones, but I am at heart a worrier lol

Worried, more like nurturer. I read about canny ancestry, I am a type A+ blood type my ancestors were lentil, bean farmers do well with a vegetarian diet, feel like I got arthritis if I eat too much red meat. TEMET KNOSKE' know they self. We as farmers ancestors nurture our crops by mindfulness. never seen ya before welcome to the forum.

That's why I'm here ,learning every day I am a.k.a. G3 a lovely nickname ive adopted from the #GR420 forum.

I ask some questions but I really like to take more advice than i need,i like to chime in once in a while still just a child in this game.

However the game has changed in ways that we need these forums .
Not sure anyone would agree but they do help alot.

Fat and happy almost ready for defoliation more training. Signs of preflowering already, here comes the stretch...nothing has changed in the tent temps, EC, ECT.. size for that cream cookies is tuff for me shes a teeny a short one, hard to train so I've got bigger fish to fry off to the races with her.
