shame bout thrips think 2scoops has menstioned some stuff to use in another thread
Im sure youll nuke the fookers
Yeah there healthy enough considering. Afraid your going to be waiting awhile before any nuglets appear eta 4 weeks till button sized nugs, 10 weeks away before there hanging but ride along for the journey.
Thank you sir ! Glad you noticed the effort (it does take some faffing about), welcome aboard the banger train, cheers dude.
Nuked? not in UK, difficult to get products you have due to EU regulations & honestly don't want to use anything nasty or toxic, pyrethrin is my limit (veg only) but I am thankful for your suggestion I know your trying to help. Anyways long of the short is I’ve been battling them for awhile, everytime I think I’ve beaten them I get lazy & the fookers reappear few weeks later, feels like blaming my tools but I’m suspicious they come in on the coco but haven't proven it (yet). Lesson = I must stick with a regular IPM and not slack.
Maybe get some sticky blue traps as well to compliment the yellow ones. Blue is a more an attractive colour to thrips than yellow apparently, it all helps i suppose
100% correct, studies do show blue is more appealing than yellow to thrips. Yellow traps still work though & the blue ones are way more expensive from my supplier, I will double check those prices next order and yes I may well try the blue sheets for the first time cheers 2-Scoops.
Not something I've considered tbh, I go though couple bags coco a month so honestly sounds like too much work for me ...... besides I've yet to prove there riding in on the coco bags, I also have 3 animals, running passive cooling, not a sealed space, etc etc aka plenty of possible vectors which leads me back to weekly IPM. Fair play thou 'boiling me coco' thats a new one I aint heard before.
Thank you Sir! I will beat them eventually...... well... regular IPM = no more bugs, as we know "get lazy" especially in the spring or end of summer and bugs galore. My own lazy fault as I should of reacted much sooner before they established themselves. Perpetual flower sucks in this situation as I cant deep clean properly or spray the space. I will release predator mites in the flower room when these bruce bangers get moved, these summer temps & RH should help those predators thrive and establish a colony in the Froom.
