Re: Doomed Doors by W.F.
hi fellow drobe grower, the title made me laugh and my doors have been doomed for ages! most drobe hinges esp on modern ones are crap and first thing that breaks, bloody plastic bits on my veg cab drobe broke in 5 minutes.
i found a box of piano hinges whilst browsing the local scrapyard all brass and copper and loads of different lengths for less than a tenner, been used on about 5 drobes now in 7 years.
still using the very first i built though doors are doomed and the whole thing wobbles a tad when both doors are open!
your plants look lush and love the groot pot but id bet its a bugger to work with?
im still getting used to this forum but it dont take long most is easy and you can ask anyone for help and most are happy to help,i needed lots getting pics up proper so well done,i shall follow along, peace

My wardrobe rocks a little as well, one hinge is bending and the same door doesn't like being closed. Occasionally it will pop itself open, normally once I open the curtains and turn my back. Allowing the on looking neighbours a good look in
Yeah the photo uploading and finding my drafts both took a bit of time but I am not TOO bad with tech so I know I will get it eventually if I just keep clicking.
Little groot was a fun project but a bugger alright. With such a small root zone and too long in veg she was drinking more than I could keep up with, even with the plastic tray. Almost felt guilty at times with the abuse she got.
Glad to have you along for the ride Duke

Re: Doomed Doors by W.F.
Chopped a few tester branches from the Wedding Cake. That gave me the room to stick another plant in and try out my new homemade scrog. Next one in is Purple Marmalade by Solfire Genetics.

Re: Doomed Doors by W.F.
Just got pvc pipe and a few attachments from the local hardware shop, put a few screws in and strung it out with garden wire. Really easy, all you need is a jr hacksaw and a drill. I am sure someone will have done a YouTube video on it but I can get photos when I make the other 3 for my main groom if notKD wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 12:45 amLooking nice mate.
