We can get swept away by our thoughts,,or learn to step back and see them with clarity.
Easy to forget its a choice

Re: Wizards dwc adventures
Discoloured roots , and some new roots growing ,, last time I checked in on this plant at buddy’s place befor bringing it home I found it to be setting in only one inch of water so that probably didn’t help much and why I’m seeing new roots growing

And some details about how I’ve been feeding , simple as always for wizards grow , no ph meters no ec readings , currently feeding advanced nutrients three part base at 1ml per litre , dual line air pump and two six inch air stones , city tap water , been topping up water level every few days and change it out every two weeks for full fresh mix

I haven’t been watching water temps , hasn’t been to warm this summer yet , but what would be a temp range to keep in mind , also can you recommend a decent brand chiller or any diy, thanks for checking in buddy

Re: Wizards dwc adventures
It's definitely more of a luxury, not necessary unless it's super hot, like you mentioned. But a few years back I used to run only hydro, and I do everything over the topWizard wrote:I haven’t been watching water temps , hasn’t been to warm this summer yet , but what would be a temp range to keep in mind , also can you recommend a decent brand chiller or any diy, thanks for checking in buddy
so I bought a used JBJ Arctica chiller (1/10 hp) which easily kept 30 gallons of water at a constant 65 Fahrenheit. It sounds really cold, but the roots absolutely love water temps from 65-68 Fahrenheit. Allows the water to hold more oxygen
not to mention, the chance of pathogens is very low. I ran 65 degrees and used a product called UC Roots, which is basically just diluted bleach. Never any issues
