I am looking to set up a completely seperate seedling starter area.
Which are the best, yet most affordable lights to use?
Thanks in advance.

I'snt that light an vivarium or aquarium sort of light? Yeah a have wandered if I can dim my TS600 with a dimmer unit, not sure. Means I'd have to upgrade my light.
Yeah I won one of the GQ60 tents. That's what I am thinking. I then want a third dry tent. Nice one, another option :-)Treetrunk wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 3:04 pmhttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PS1-Propagat ... 890.l49292
Hey Rick this what I use.. it's adjustable which is handy.
Works a treat in the GQ60.
It draws about 50w. You can get the light really close.
I kept clones in small pots for months under it.

You can daisy chain a T5 or plug them together to make a longer light. Very versatile and cheap as chips to run and buy.DIY.Rik wrote:Yeah I won one of the GQ60 tents. That's what I am thinking. The 2ft T5HO sunblasters are 25w per tube. I regularly grow 20 cuttings up to about 6" no problem under 2 of them.DIY.Rik wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 3:53 pmNice one, thank you good people.seymore_budz wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 3:39 pm2ft T5 is perfect for plants up to about 6". Does the 2ft versions tend to be good on power then. Take it theyre only a few watts or so?

These were excess cuttings that were under two for a few weeks. As you can see there's not a lot of stretch and they're happy as a pig in shit.
