Re: EC extraction fan recommendations
In have as 4" infinity on one tent and 5" RVK with rhino pro on the other. If I was to start again it would be ac on both tents.

You can get the ' Chinese brand, wannabe' AC fans on Amazon for a little less than the price AC want

@Treetrunk ah I didnt mean the ac infinity was pricey mate, in fact i meant the opposite it seems real good value for money on paper and its what I'd be buying. But the hyperfan is a pretty good shout too imo, just make sure its a v2 you're getting I had a v1 and it died on me in like 3 monrhs and started being really loud before it did so.

Re: EC extraction fan recommendations
I've seen a few different makes that look exactly the same as the AC. Mars hydro are doing one and seen a few other makes too. I think I'll get another AC just with the fan speed controller. The metal cased one's are a bit too pricey. Thanks mateNom wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 9:43 pm@Treetrunk ah I didnt mean the ac infinity was pricey mate, in fact i meant the opposite it seems real good value for money on paper and its what I'd be buying. Re: EC extraction fan recommendations
I was looking at AC until i heard the controller 67 is shit and you cant hock up to troll master stuff without rewiring it.
heard that most people turn the low setting off as if you set a low temp or low humidity all it does is turn the fan on, does the same with high setting. For example so if low is 20C and high 25C fan will turn off at 20 not 25 unless on auto. In my eyes that controller don't work like its meant to no day and night
I'm now looking a the phresh fans as the connection to any ec controller
This is my opinion tho
Could you share light on this matter ??

If I'm honest mate, I have no idea what troll master is lol.ncrypta.core wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 12:40 pmI was looking at AC until i heard the controller 67 is shit and you cant hock up to troll master stuff without rewiring it.

I'm not really sure I understand, are you sure you don't mean the controller you get with the t6? The controller 67 slows the fan if temp gets low (but you can set a minimum so it doesn't switch off or go below what you want) an turns it up if temps get high, similar with humidity but in its own manner.
I personally returned my controller 67 as I just had no need for it as I have inkbirds etc and my fan is way overpowered for my set up.
Sorry if I misunderstood the question mate, perhaps someone else can give you more of a heads up.
Edit: I know alot of people have problems with the "auto" setting on the original controller and that's why it's recommended to get the 67, never really heard anyone complain about it, but then after I got one and didn't end up needing it I can't say I've done much more research on it. While I had it it worked fine but was just unnecessary.
Hope that helps in some small way!

this is what I meant not knocking them just put me off buying the ac infinity fans because of their controllers don't know tho if they fixed the issue and the trolmaster is a controller that does everything you can think of in a grow from lights to fan etc
sorry for being the devels overcut
