Some strains stretch more than others
22c is fine
After reading your post again I wonder if you just didn’t veg them long enough?
If your trying to fill a net you need to train them a bit and fill the net before flipping

They vegged for 2 months. They havnt really stretched much from the beginning. Only flipped so they could be done before Christmas. Wouldn't even say they've doubled in size yet.

They look nice.
Just a thought but have you grown with those lights before and have something to compare to?
It’s like the lights are underpowered and need turning up, like when you grow a mother plant you give them barely enough light to keep them growing slow but not too much light to encourage them to go mad and take over the tent.
That would explain the slow growth, I’d turn the lights up if it was me, 150w each light just sounds a bit low at this stage

I’ve had two led panels from years back, one was a Mars hydro and the other the name escapes me at the moment but it’s in the loft, all the hype about how they are more efficient and better than hps, I found I got reduced yields and calmag issues, plants did grow stockier and less prone to stretch mind you so perhaps that’s what your seeing here too

Red light will help with assisting stretch so maybe adding inv sun's red supplemental light?

Auxins is what you need along with other phytohormones will help to get more stretch along with other acids which help in it's availability to the plant.

There in a 3x3. I turned the lights down originally because they seemed to be tainting the leafs. Maybe I should just turn them up see how they get on

You could also download a lux meter to your phone mate to make sure there getting enough light across the hold canopy of you have a iPhone there’s one on the App Store I’m using does the job well
