The trouble is lots of new growers get sucked into all the misinformation and marketing that exists and become fixated on nutrients and additives. There are so many out there all claiming to make your buds potent and mahusive and there is some truth within most of the information but this is HEAVILY dependent on the health of your plants and the environmental conditions. I always advice new growers to stick with something simple like batmix and Plagron Alga because it's very easy to manage and correct and everything is super available from the bottle and cheap. This allows you to see what affect environmental changes can have and allows the grower to adjust quickly to avoid issues and get a feel for growing. Once you have that sorted, start looking at the more advanced stuff like highy chelated food or ammended soil etc.
Also, don't spend your budget on food and additives! Spend it on quality equipment and environmental control. The most important thing IMO is a consistent environment for the plant to thrive. If you don't have that you can add what you like and your plants will still be crap

If you have a good environment, cheap gp garden center soil and baby bio will produce decent results.
Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
