Hello Don

K said you looking at COB builds, any ideas in mind mate.
I went Cree cxb3590 COBs and 3500k ones which is a good spectrum for both veg and flower

yeah man,
my flower room is 18x7x7 feet (im in the us)
i currently have 2x600w hps and a perfect sun dwarf stat led
i am good with diy my problem with doing diy led is to many options. i dont know how to match driver to light for optimal performance.
i was looking at 3590s also was looking at qb304s.
my other concern is i know i can save a little money with diy but the little i save ill have to put into making a mount or housing so ill spend what i saved. i could be wrong but it almost seems better/easier to buy a quality light.
example.
i was looking at the growmau5 diy kit on cutter.com the kit to cover most of my area is 4600$ (covers 4x12)
i was also looking at the perfect sun goliath it covers 5x5 and is 1100$ so 2x will cover 5x10 and the guy that made the light just got 3 pounds with 1 light.

thanks for your help.

Growmau5 vids are very imformative mate and watched aload of his stuff myself. Just working out what your space would be in the UK. There very good kits as well. It's all about efficiency and getting the most out of your lights. What sort wattage you want to run them at.

metric conversion is something like 5.5 x 2 x 2 meters
i dont know what wattage i want, as of now i have 2 x 600w hps and a perfect sun dwarf star. i would like to eventually use the whole space, i was thinking of doing 2 meters at a time, mainly cost reasons but also work up to it and see how i feel about doing that many plants at a time.
