UK firm wins first licence to produce medical cannabis in Guernsey

Post by The Aspie Toker »

UK firm 4C Labs has been given the first licence to cultivate medical cannabis in Guernsey.

It follows a visit from the UK Home Office to the island to look at the company’s infrastructure and security.

Bring forth the private equity firms...

4C Labs have a tory member of the House of Lords on their board of directors.

I wonder why they were the only one out of 7 companies who were granted a license??

Shower of corrupt mother fuckers! The only good thing I see from legalisation in the UK is good hearted, hard working people won't have to go to jail anymore for growing a plant that inspires peace between each other. What a fucked up government 🙈

@KD Do you really believe this government will allow the man on the street to grow his own dope when they can monetise it for themselves?

Look at the old drugs Tsar... Victoria Aitken who was unable to discuss legalisation when in her role due to a conflict of interest because her husband was on the payroll (CEO) for British Sugar who were growing and exporting medical dope on behalf of GW Pharma.

Ain't gonna happen.

No, but I think it'll be decriminalised like here in Spain. Fines will make even more money for those corrupt fucks! It's €1000 per plant here unless they can prove you have the intent to supply. Then it's jail.

Malta, Italy, Mexico and Soon Germany have all legalised with the allowance of home growing. its no guarantee the uk will when it eventually happens but theres at least hope and precedence

Luxemburg is an interesting one, they are making the commercial purchase of seeds for home cultivation legal, using weed legal and growing it at home legal BUT keeping the sale of cannabis illegal. I kinda like that but it will stoke a black market for sure

You'd be surprised. Lots of people grow their own here yet tourists still seem to struggle to buy any. Seems no one wants to part with their hard work

Got family and friends our there in spain mate, so i do know what you mean. Spanish policy is currently confusing, its still technically illegal but they turn a blind eye unless you piss them off seems to be the thinking. I believe its up for discussion in Madrid next year though so maybe they will change it.

Prolly will be cheaper for me here in UK if i was to get caught by bogeys KD, well i think it would be. Then again feck knows tbh, but i don't give a rats ass either way, ill just carry on regardless till im unable to do so anymore.
