After a disastrous last run, where I managed to destroy my harvest right before chop by sanding a wall without closing a door, and covering a whole tent in sanding debris (literally 2 days before chopping) I figured it was time for a reset.
I've been running cuttings for a bit and it's been a little while since I've actually popped some seeds. I'm running out of room for mums, so I let my Dosidos x Face Off mum go with a view to replacing her with a cookie-free OG. Picked up a pack of Hayabusa OG and a Biker Kush v2 from Karma with the hopes that there's something in there that fits the bill.
I'm chasing that classic gassy, piney, lemon floor cleaner profile. I'm all for earthy OGs but I''m looking for something a little cleaner tasting.
The Hayabusa pack's the first to be investigated. There were 14 beans that got wet 24hrs ago, and 12 tails peeking out. I'll let em cook for another 24 and get em in the dirt.
This will be a cramped run and I'm expecting quite a bit of stretch from parents like Race Fuel OG and Biker Kush. They're going in Canna soil, with Shogun food and some extra bits and bobs. They'll all be grown in a 1x1 with the males pulled as soon as they show.
The first run will be somewhat of a hunt, basing keepers on terps for the most part, but I can't pretend that structure and yield aren't a factor. I have a small space these days and have medical needs, so they do still need to produce.
I'm hoping to find a nice female in here that would be a suitable recipient, or even reversal donor for some gorgeous Juicee J F2 plants I've got.
Let's see how we get on. It'll be chaos if all 14 pop.
