hi anyone not yet deserted the ship! well things have been pretty shitty of late and been feeling very sad and even the grow my normal source of spiritual healing seems to be letting me down,3 out of 3 reg ssdd all fucking males then we have both had the superflu for what seems like forever the drobes are looking shabby and neglected though all 3 are still full and sort of growing but def not going to be breaking any records this time!there too tall due to said neglect and despite lots of neck breaking and bending half the buds are above the influence of the lights now and nothing i can do i cant raise lights or lower plants any more.

this should have been one of the best grows ever but so far nothing but a pain in the arse,worst thing is i am not even able to smoke anything not even a pipe so have plenty of weed and its just sat there in the jars teasing me!

thanks to a friend sending me a bunch of new seeds i have 5 barneys farm tangerine dream fems to sow for the next run if i decide to bother again it seems all the forums are dying on there arse and are now sad lifeless corpses a bit like this sad sight of a site,i blame discord/whatsap etc for the death of the real forums. if anyone fancies an actual chat on a real forum come visit the old tgc site here

hi all a week so on from above here are a few pics from my 3 drobes all running 12-12 at various stages the most advanced have 30 odd days left youngest are obvious in the pics and have 50 or so days left, some pics are labeled and some might even be the right way up,maybe! no most are again neckbreakers,sorry.

note the poor burned foliage on the tangerine dream this was due to my period of sickness during this grow and her getting massively overfed i can only imagine i must have doubled up the feed and being sativa dom she took great offence at that,also note the also supposed sat dom next to her the acapulco gold lapped it up at exact same feed rate and ph so far very pleased with the acapulco gold (though it has none of the original genetics in) it is tough and grows well.i love barneys genetics they rarely drift and perform like clockwork esp the old tangerine dream she makes the best smoke and medical oil.

hi herb and all i am using a vape and still have the rare spliff but will never be able to stop growing as i make the oil for my tina and she cannot cope without it as it helps loads with the pain and swelling and means she only uses much smaller opiate meds compared to without the oil about half her previous dose but with better effect and less side effects, im a pothead and still get a buzz out of growing a good plant each and every grow.
well today i refilled the bigger drobes carbon filter with nice new carbon as there was excess smell in the hall outside the drobe room and now have no smell and instead of spending a £100 on a new rhino 125mm cf i bought this bag of proper job australian carbon for £40 and is enough to do 2-3 carbon filter refurbs (8lb) so happy i saved money and have zero tell tale smells https://ledgrowshop.co.uk/products/acti ... bQQAvD_BwE

HI ITS EASY just need to drill out the 3-4 rivets holding on the end the ducting goes on and wiggle and tap it gently till it pops offthere you will see a sort of sponge seal/gasket thing remove this,under this you will find a sort of net bag that should just unfold then tip out the old carbon best is straight into a bin bag and you need to wear a mask and goggles if you have them,reilling i found done best with a large funnel and simply keep adding carbon granules and tamping it down by shaking and tapping the sides till its as full as when you started,once full refold your net back like it was and add back your seal/gasket refit the top but this time using some self tapping screws instead of rivets that means the next time you need to refill there will be no need to drill out rivets. i did look for the guide i did on tgc but all the images have gone! i may redo the guide as i need to refill my tiny cf on veg cab soon,worth the effort and saves money and btw the old carbon is great for the garden mix it with compost and it become a rich nutrient source for plants,carrots grow huge but not woody there the best. stay well and thanks for looking in,peace
