Re: Grumpy Toad's Fall 2022 grow
End of week 8 flower
Up until this week I've been taking plants out of the tent and feeding at the sink. Makes collecting run off and inspecting plants convenient. But the buds are getting too heavy to move any more. I've had to start using yo-yo's to support some branches.
I have stopped adding Big Bud and started adding Overdrive to my nutrient solution. Feeding at 1.6 to 1.7 EC. My plan is to feed through week 9 then start to just use water if additional time is needed.
I started to check trichomes this week and so far most are getting cloudy but no amber to speak of. That tracks with breeder estimates. One strain says 63 days, one says 60-65 days and the third says 70 days. I'm not going to hurry at all. If I have to harvest at two different times it won't be a problem as I have a second tent and it's not being used at the moment.
