In sure they'll come around buddy.
Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

I know and fair play. I have the same problem with seed purchases. There's only so many small packets from the US that can arrive without the missus starting to question the cost! Like gardening really, patience is required.Pork Chop Express wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 12:59 amC'mon mate, I've only just pulled together for this new kit this month.Tictok wrote:Good luck dude. For another run you might benefit from getting a small propagator and a couple of T5 lights, cheap and seedlings love them and the environment is easier to control in the smaller space.

Re: My first diary
Drop light to 2ft now its on 15% that's more than enough. Then put lights on 24 hours daily if its an auto, doing this should help keep your plant warm and stop cold getting to it. Cold getting to plants is one of worse thing can happen, it will start showing deficiencies cus it will struggle to uptake ferts and it will stunt and stop them growing altogether so it will dramatically reduce yield with autos. Hopefully by having lighting on 24/7 it will keep plant warm till you can get a heater or it gets warmer. Yes you can grow great big auto plants on 24 hours a day lighting. Check out some of PauLED grows doing it during winter months, he smashes it good style in garage.Pork Chop Express wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 1:28 amTurned it down to 15%. Light is 2.5ft above the plant. There's a fan in there just incase they needed some air... They've perked up to be fair but I think now temperature is the issue because it's got cold again
Guess we'll just have to see how they pan out

Re: My first diary
Had to improvise to get them up closer to the light lol.
Also turned off the fan as it's so cold outside I'm thinking they aren't enjoying the breeze at the moment.
How are you guys getting heat into your areas? Outside of putting a radiator in there I can't get it warmer than it is right now with it being -3 outside. About time it warmed up now - bored of the cold

Re: My first diary
heat wise im using a panel heater that i hang up on the back wall of the tent. I use an inkbird to control the temp(its set to 24c), the heater itself is 500w. Works really well.
you can see it here... viewtopic.php?f=92&t=20858&hilit=panel+heater

Re: My first diary
yea, ive used cheap fan heaters for a few years, they were fine but take up a little space and im in a 80x80x160 tent so space is a premium. The panel heater saves space and is less aggressive in how it heats the tent. Very easy to fry a plant with a fan heater! and yes i have lol

Re: My first diary
I'll definitely look into that then as my space is 90x90x180 so very similar to yours.Hmr81 wrote:yea, ive used cheap fan heaters for a few years, they were fine but take up a little space and im in a 80x80x160 tent so space is a premium. I've put a little thermometer in there it's reading just over 20° which isn't as bad as I thought it would be to be honest. But I'll definitely look at getting a heater for in there.
lol if I can burn them rest assured I'll be the one to achieve it

Re: My first diary
20c isnt too bad, i try and keep my veg period at about 24c and then drop it to 23c in flower.
mate i totally fried a plant by forgetting to put the temp probe in the tent and left it in the shed so heater never turned off for 24 hours, must have been 50c in that fucking tent lol
