Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
The first ChemD S1 in flower is so big and lanky the stems had to be bent, first time doing this but it wasnt too bad, this is the result, certainly lowered the canopy.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
Cheers Scoops, appreciated.
I still managed to lose another main branch attempting to bend it down LST style. Such a difderent pheno to the other ChemD S1 in veg. So thats two big branches I've lost!
Typically I bet this one will be fire and I'll have to keep this lanky unmanageable plant. The other has better structure but doesnt smell so much on the stem rub.

Should bounce back in no time, I'm forever flipping too late and doing the same. Pretty much always end up being the heaviest plants on the chopping block.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
They'll all be sunfacing in a few hours. If you have any splits you can use washi tape or cut-down masking tape as a plaster. Helps to keep out any nasties.
Remember to bind them down a bit as they start to pop back up or they'll end up slowly straightening out more than expected. You'll often end up with little more than a kink in the stem on a healthy plant.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
Thanks all for the words of encouragement and of course you were all right.....here she is now...

Thanks @Nice Option for the tip on tying her down, I can tell already it will be needed.
So from an unmanageable beast we have ourselves a canopy. Everyday is a school day.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
I use plumbers PTFE tape, but i never use it if stem is split vertically i just let it be, it soon mends with a big knuckle type look, but i only use it on horizontal splits, well they're more like snaps really.Nice Option wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 5:59 pmIf you have any splits you can use washi tape or cut-down masking tape as a plaster.
Looks like its bouncing back nicely Tictok
