Appreciate that @Keeno Coco is a whole different level.

Good afternoon GR420.

Another update on these Testers.

Took a while to get them happy BUT I think I've got there.

Pheno 1,3 and 4 are pretty similar. small and bushy. I've even raised the light slightly to try and encourage abit of stretch. I've also turned the light on 20/4 to give them a short dark period. That's only been a week though.

Pheno 2 is my star. I love the structure on her. Tall, spaced out nodes and fat branches. I've took some cuttings of her and some others but I'm hoping her root.

Environment- Temp. 25c RH 60%.

Lights are at about 150w each now (300w total)

So, I started feeding everyday BUT I started to notice green tinge on the top of the pots. so I've backed off to every 2 days. They seem happy though.

The Yellowing on some of the edges of leafs HASNT got worse BUT still shows up on new growth. No idea what to do.

3ml Canna A & B. 1ml Mag, 0.5 Hydro Sillicon. PH 5.8.

I'm going to give them a feed tonight. About 2lt worth now. I want to FLIP the lights tonight to 12/12.

I've put them under trellis the other day, I've bent them considerably since there pictures though.

If anyone has read this far.. What is your recommendation on PH during flower? Do you keep it the same? OR raise it to 6.0ish? Also nutrient wise, raise it?

I transported my Neon Sunshine seedlings into the veg tent and dropped them. Now there shocked and halted with no progress what so ever... i also took down the HPS and replaced with LED. The next day we have the coldest day of the year and it hasn't stopped snowing since. I may chuck them and start seedlings when it warms up.

With PH I tend to start off low (5.8) and let it fluctuate slightly between feeds, ending up higher (maximum 6.5) towards the end of flower. Also depending on the condition of the plant or what I am actually adding to the regular feed I will set PH at a certain level. For example if I think they have N deficiency I will have it 5.8-6.0, but when I'm adding calmag I will have it at around 6.3-6.4. Btw I am not using Canna nutes so this info might be useless to you, but on the recommended feed chart it says to use 6.0 for the duration of the grow for these nutrients (BAC Coco). Also have you calibrated recently your PH testing equipment? Might be worth checking just to be sure you are not getting a false reading.

Ahh so you raise the PH as you get later in flower? I read Calmag is more readily available to plants at around 6.4ph. From looking up deficiencies, it may be a calmag issue. I give them 1ml PER litre per feed though. It is 'Plant magic' nutrient though for soil so I'm looking at grabbing the Canna MagCal.

I checked the Canna site and they recommend PH between 5.8 - 6.5 so I'm in the right zone atleast.

I Calibrate my Pen once a week atleast. So iknow the Ph I'm giving them is accurate. Mayb it's the type of Calmag I'm using. I'll have a proper one by Tuesday.

Maybe I should be raising my PH slightly to 6.0 perhaps. Hopefully it'll take up calmag abit more. May even look at dry ammendments for the next run and do it properly. It's my 1st CoCo run so I wasn't FULLY aware of how accurate things need to be lol.

Never the less, they seem happy and healthy other then the slight yellow tips.

I heard flower is harder to get through in coco soo I'll see how that goes lol. By the next update they'll be a week in flower so let's see.

Evening GR420,

So day 6 in flower for these girls.

I've got the environment pretty stable at 24c 55%RH.

It's gotten pretty crowded in here now. I wish I defoliated abit more pre flip. I have been taking leaves off on the odd day. Cut a few lower nodes on 1 or 2 plants tonight. Will leave them now until they've stopped stretching and will give a last heavy defol.

Unfortunately I havnt got an even canopy. The front right plant (pheno 2) has just took off. I tried to bend her when I put the net up but there's just not enough space.

There getting -
3ml Canna A&B
1ml Canna MagCal
0.5ml Hydro Sillicon
6.0PH/6.1PH. Feed every 24hrs. 2ltrs.

2 lights at 150w + 150w. Will up to 200w once stretch is finished.

ImageImageImageImage

1 cut has finally shown a root. A couple dried out and died. Still waiting on the rest to root.. I need to get better at cloning. I don't rate root riots much.

Evening GR420.

Finally in the last week of the stretch now. God they need to stop. The front right pheno is probably elbow to hand length away from the light now. The light Is as high as it goes!

Not much to say about them at the moment. They've all stretched really well. I only had 1 tall plant before flip and now the other 3 has almost caught up.. so they stretch abit.

There all on -

3ml Canna A&B
1ml Canna Mag
0.7ml Hydro Sillicon
6 - 6.1PH.
2litres everyday. May bump up to 2 n half litres.

Temps are consistently sitting at 25c with about 55% RH.

Not sure if to up there feed yet... some are showing slight yellow at the tips but doesn't look like toxicity. Guessing there hungry. There's a picture of it.

What's peoples opinion on when to Defol during flower? I heard at the end of the stretch (about day 21) it's a god dam jungle in there and they need it!

Thanks for looking!

Wow healthy full house in here! Perhaps @MrHash can lend some advice on how to approach a defoliation for these plants. I think your understanding of timing is spot on.

Looking good Benji, yes whip fan leaves off at 3 weeks in and strip away bottom third from underneath if you, i then sometimes do fan leaf removal again around 7 weeks in if i can be bothered and its really leafy.

@Mafooo I appreciate that man, they've come a long way from what they looked like a month ago. I think CoCo has already won me over!

@2-Scoops Thankyou man, I would of gave up on these a long time ago if you didn't hold my hand through it lol. Can't believe how much they've stretched in 2 weeks. With a week to go I hope the front one doesn't touch the light.. I'll give them a good strip middle of the week then, that'll be coming up to end of week 3. The best I can anyway. Will be a struggle getting to the back. They really need it. Iknow there's alot of nodes hiding.

Consious Genetics has smashed it with these strains.

Gooood afternoon GR420.

Another week for these testers. Honestly, there crushing it.

End of week 3 now so I should be seeing some fattening up in the coming weeks.

There as tall as me now. The tallest branch must be 10 or less inches away from touching the light... unfortunately the light is as high as I can get it. Don't know if I can up the wattage on it now without burning the bud site.

Ramped the feed up to -

4ml Canna A & B
1ml Magcal
1ml Hydro sillicon
PH 6.1

Everyday feeding with about 2 and half litres each.

I planned on defoling today, I messed up. I didn't expect them to get so tall and there in a trellis so there's no way of getting to the back of the plants.

I've done my best taking some straggly nodes from the lowers and reached the best I can to take some fan leafs off. Will have to see how they get on.
