Re: Grumpy Toad rides again!
Very nice strains Grumpy. I used to do similar with the lights at the coolest times, ac costs are no joke on larger setups. All looking good as always

Re: Grumpy Toad rides again!
Weekly Update - Day 7 flower:
Feeding at 1.3EC / lights at 500 watts. Tent environment is spot on. For the first time I'm able to hold temp and humidity where I want during summer. However the next few days will be a good test to see if my setup is truly up to the task.

The plants all look as healthy as can be. They are starting to show signs of flower. Growing out and growing up. I've removed some lower fan leaves and some from the middle/center to help with air flow.

Re: Grumpy Toad rides again!
I have a PSA that I forgot to add earlier. I checked the filters/screen on my AC unit and dehumidifier. After 5 weeks they showed a small amount of build up. I figure while the equipment will function fine it probably won't be at maximum efficiency. I've scheduled reminders to do this on a regular basis.

Weekly update: Day 14 of flower.
Using same nutrient mix but lowered the EC from 1.4 - 1.3 - 1.2 - 1.1 -1.0 now. Plants are all looking green and healthy. I'm continuing to remove some lower and middle fan leaves each time I feed. The Cherry Paloma and Georgia Pie were getting quite tall so I super-cropped the main stalk about 6 inches from the top. The top were dangling straight down but now two days later they are both doing a 180 and reaching for the light. The Frequency Shift has a very nice candelabra shape. Very distinct from the others.
Some photos:

Georgia Pie

Cherry Paloma

Re: Grumpy Toad rides again!
I should mention that for the first time I'm not fighting temperature in my tent. The thermometer in my backyard recorded 108F (42C) and I'm able to keep lights on full and things are rock steady. If I didn't have the AC unit I would be turning the lights to 50% and running the house AC too cool for comfort. Plants are happy, wife is happy, I am happy!

Re: Grumpy Toad rides again!
The drain hole is 2" from the bottom. That 2" section is perlite only. The balance is filled with a 4:1 mix of perlite / vermiculite.
