Re: Flavour Chasers, Perfect Tree & Purple City Genetics in coco
I've used canna terra for my last couple of grows with there vega and flores no smells super easy to use it's just like coco but you feed less often , when you start back go back to that . I'm pleased your sticking around mate looking forward to seeing your next growsybarite wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 6:48 pmThanks mate, I really appreciate that. I'm OK, just a bit pissed off. I've tried to keep things as simple as possible this time, just using GHO's The End and not much else, so this is probably as basic as it gets in terms of feeding. It's nothing to do with the products I'm using but likely an environmental thing in my place. Myself and very experienced growers have racked our brains but nobody knows for sure what the issue is. My VPD is dialled, I'm not over/under-watering or over/under-feeding. The weird thing is the plants looks super healthy, like they have high brix and the roots remain almost pure white right until the end. I was growing very successfully for more than 30 years and never had such issues until recently, so it's very strange.Wrh wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 5:50 pmSorry to hear this mate I hope you are ok,as for your yields you should go back to when your yields started to decline and look at what you've changed ,lighting, feeds whatever and go back to your old more successful ways sometimes there's a lot to be said for going back to basics nothing fancy just a and b and a watering can . I hope you regain your love for this brilliant hobby and see you on here again after you've had a break good luck mate hopefully cu soon
Thngs all went tits up once I switched from Canna Terra Pro Plus soil with BioBizz, to using GHO's soil in no-till method. I had an aphid problem then and no-till was starting to become popular, so being the type who likes to experiment with new things I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to change. Since then my yields have been very poor with a high leaf to bud ratio, but it's not the soil or method, because I effectively moved my entire grow (same soil, pots, light, extractor, tent and strains from clones) to a very inexperienced neighbour across the way and he's having great success with massive donkey dick buds. This is not due to any skills he has because he has none when it comes to growing cannabis - I've pretty much done it for him. So it makes me think it must be some kind of miasma or curse in my flat, not that I believe in either of those, but it surely is something very weird.
I considered going back from coco in 6 L pots to Canna soil in 16 L pots, but using The End instead of BioBizz, because BioBizz Grow smells of death, but I will try one more run in coco, maybe handwatering, although I'm not convinced anything I do will fix it. I'm almost sure it's a problem with my environment.
I'm not going away yet and may still post the odd photo or music video from time to time.

Thanks mate, feeling the love here, hence why I'll be sticking around for a bit. You are a good bunch!
I'm only fed up doing diaries for now because it requires some effort and I'm not opposed to effort but only if it's worthwhile.

Don;t give up dude, we all go through shit times growing.
My shit phase has been going for 10 years now, but I keep at it!
Get back to basics, 1 pot, 1 plant in coir or terra, A+B or the flores stuff by canna and see what happens. Sling a 250w hps or 315w cmh in there and ignore trying to twiddle with environment, let it swing.
Splash of pk come late flower maybe???
Just aim to keep the plant green.
I think you'll surprise yourself!

A sack of canna terra, some seeds you've smashed it with before and wang in a 600hps. Sun will soon be shinning and you'll have a cheesy grin to go with it or summink like mukka. Ahh you know it makes sense Sy.

Your yields are wank because you don't fart in the cubby enough.
I found a pic of my 1st LED grow the other day. It was ALL leaf and budrot.
Keep at it though @sybarite it'll all fall back into place soon.
