Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
pmsl. Please don't spray them with that... I think my very first 4 seedlings died because I've sprayed them by mistake with AntiBacterila spray instead of the water spray bottle next to it...

Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
Ok was searching through one of my drawers having a good clear out to help pass with the boredom of the lock down, and i came across 5 cheese fems.
The Breeder i have no idea how old they are anyone's guess. I put these in the paper towels and within just over 24 hrs we had all 5 pop.

I put these into Canna seedling Mix using a pen to make the hole for the seedling to go into tap root down. The depth to witch i make the whole is governed by the length of the tap root. I then cover in approx a cm of soil. My seedling mix has been pre soaked with water so i do not water them in.

Not sure if i will grow these in soil or coco yet. If i go down the soil root it will not be organic. The auto will be going out in the garden in the mud in a week or 2 that will be 100% organic.

Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
The Strawberry Cheese cake is 8 days old today and she is doing ok. I water her every 2 days but very little water this will increase as she gets bigger of course. looking at her she will be ready to go in the earth this w/end coming.

The 5 cheese have just popped there heads out of the seedling mix. I am using canna seedling mix for the cheese plants its a lot finer and a EC of approx 0.4 so not to hot for them.

Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
Strawberry Cheesecake is 2 weeks old today.
She was going into the mud outside but due to low flying drones out the back and the Mrs paranoia the plan has had to change.
So what I have decided to do is to grow it in the cupboard in soil potting up in stages unorthodox for Auto's I know but let us see how it goes.
Here she is before potting up.

I will upload pics of potting up a little later today.

Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
I have potted the Strawberry cheesecake into a 5-liter pot with a little clay pebbles for drainage. The compost used was plant magic supreme mixed with a little coco. This is the only additive I have used Great white Mycorrhizae to help with root growth as shown in the pictures.

Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
Weekly update the strawberry cheesecake Auto is 22 days old today the cheese fems are 14 days. The Growth on the strawberry cheesecake as been ok since potting up into the 5 liter pot and the roots have hit the bottom in a week. The feed is water only what i am going to attempt do all the way through. The potting up timing will be crucial to achieve this and of course the soil i pot up with.
I will be keeping my eye on the plant for signs of pre-flower to help with when to pot up.
The cheese fems are a little small for 2 weeks but being photoperiod plants i can veg them longer.
As they are under the Invisible Sun ISH265 Pro i am going to enter them in the competition the forum is running.
The Led pulls 270w @ the wall so will be in category 2 of the competition although the LED is dimmed right down at this moment in time.

Re: Strawberry Cheesecake Auto
Just over a week later and its not going so well. The plant is suffering with a magnesium deficiency i held off treating it as i knew i was potting up this w/end into its final pot looks like i am paying the price now.
Going to treat her with Epsom salts 1 teaspoon per liter and foliar spray the plant making sure she is well drenched on the underside of the leaves as well. She is still on plain water i hope the fresh soil in the 17 liter pot will help to.
