New dude grows podcast mentions how people have started to collect seeds almost like a peice of art from an artist. I guess if there's no way you can grow out every strain but you're a completist collecting from your fave breeder and they release a new strain you buy it purely for a momento.

Its basically the cannabis equivalent of football stickers.

Oh and totally get it as I like getting new packs of seeds with cool packaging but I ain't buying if I ain't growing them out.

I'm an addict, I never have all the strains I want to grow lol, every time there is a conversation about seeds. I find myself with more strains that I want lol

After having a seed buying free February I relapsed on 16/3 I managed to abstain again until this morning when in a moment of weakness and encouraged by a bloody good deal I relapsed again, I’m hoping to have a few months on the wagon now.
