My coco drip and drain diary

Post by Grower88 »

Hi everyone this is my diary i wont explain anything about me ect as iv posted up in the new members. Will just give abit of backround on my growing and get straight to it.

This is my 5th grow now and only just started back up again after a few pissed of fails ended up buying it again but for the past few months iv been itching to get my own growing again as not just for the smoke but for this awesome hobby!

So atm im running 8x ecodus cheese by greenhouse.

1.2x2.4 tent
Rhizo drip and drain
Rhino 8" extraction fan
2 ram 360 fans
1 normal fan at the bottom
200L res i dont have a heater in there atm as its usually at about 18 with the weather getting warmer and airstone only comes on when the feed comes on for 3 mins a day for a little mix. Iv tryed leaving the airstone on 24/7 and get issues my ph just shoots up with in hours. This aint practical but it aint hurting them at the moment

Nutes
Buddhas tree solor green (silca)
Rhizotonic
Dutch pro drip clean (was cheap lol)
Growers ark a and b with traces
Im working with hard water 0.7ec with a high ph sometimes around 8.

For flower i wont go crazy on nutes just growers ark a and b with there pk boost at a low dossage from weeks 4 to 6 amd stopping solor green around 5 or 6 weeks

Few snaps of my girls cheers for looking in

Looks like you know what you're doing mate
I'd just sit down quietly and enjoy the rest of the grow.

Looking banging cheesygrow! Thanks for putting me onto the buddahs tree silicon! That's got to be the cheapest silicic acid on the market! I was looking at bionova but that's cheaper and more available.

PS: I feel you on the airstones. Blowing air into water produces carbonic acid and spikes the PH. I've read agitation of the surface tension creates more DO in the water anyway. Trouble is the pump used to aggitate the water creates heat. If you're using drippers the water temp shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as it's below 30C.

Cheers mate. Ye dilute rate is only 0.5ml i mix that in my res first then everything else. I like the fact it dont alter my ph lol
Yea pump is a pain i have the feed and pump on the same switch so they both go at the same time. Plus i have a return thingy what pushes water back in the res as its feeding to stop the air building in the pipe so the drippers dont drip when its off. I think
