Ur ballast may have been degrading some time ya think mate? I had this in my cheese grow I took both ballast to my local hydro store and they tested it for me the ballast wasn't pushing what it was meant to.

Hoping the full out in the last weeks for ya mate shame

Plants are looking spot on as usual kbag, lovely chunkers on them.

it looks like the ballast issue hasnt really slowed them down too much. Ive got a ballast just now thats doing the same, the lamp was really dull in it, and it keep s cutting out. so ive put it into the new shed, where i will have a better idea how bad it is, before sending it back.

@Minty it's the grandkids old football net that got broken, so I cut it to size to fit the room. It is not a scrog net though it is just for support but looking at my plants they are not going to need a lot of support.
That's DIY style :oik!:  Neat little set up @kbag :bye:

i was growing these with an Invisible Sun 265 pro with 2 strips out before noticing.

What do you mean "2 strips out" @kbag mate?

I had a bank of diodes out on the ISH 275 R - which was basically a quarter of the light and it arrived like this. What I did was to leave the light on full for a couple of mins then gently move my fingers across all the diodes that were not lite and after about 10 they all turned on and have been fine since.

I think the way they are made with surface mount tech means sometimes the contact might not be great and can possibly be 'nudged' during shipping etc but because they are wired in a series a single diode takes out a complete section.

I guess its one diode that causing the banks to go out think its 2 on one panel and one on the other. I have already done one grow this light and it was fine. I will try your what you suggest Minty its worth a go nothing lose.
