I've always used Growth Technology ph- mate, i tried the Dutch Pro stuff once but it wasn't as strong and took shit loads to get right ph.Paul_led wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 9:07 amI need to go and get some more ph down today , any reccomdations ?2-Scoops wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 8:51 amI find if ya use the sulfuric acid i think it is basically gro-tec stuff mine holds once set man, then again i never check it once set cus plants are always green, so lets say i presume it holds. But yes point being theirs different types i think Dutch Pro use phosphoric acid, but not sure but i know they use summink different, the sulfuric stuff is most aggressive again i think its sulfuric.
Might get a new 4” filter today too for drying the trainwreck I think last time it was a little past best

Re: Dutch Passion Jorge’s Diamonds #1
I think the PH may drift a little more with Phosphoric acid as the plants will consume much more P then S. S is a stronger acid too so that might be contributing to it being more stable than Phosphoric acid.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 11:12 amI've always used Growth Technology ph- mate, i tried the Dutch Pro stuff once but it wasn't as strong and took shit loads to get right ph.Paul_led wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 9:07 amI need to go and get some more ph down today , any reccomdations ?2-Scoops wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 8:51 amI find if ya use the sulfuric acid i think it is basically gro-tec stuff mine holds once set man, then again i never check it once set cus plants are always green, so lets say i presume it holds. Evening gardeners :-p
So things still seem the same , plants seem to have stopped yellowing more and resin production seems to still be coming , so apart from Being very annoyed cause I don’t like ruining my nice green plants. I’m not gonna sweat too much cause I recon I’m only a week away from flush anyway , so the feed keeps going in and it is what it is .
This strain looks like it should make an awesome scrog, so if I revisit her again that’s what will happen
The back left plant is the most frosty and sticky, if I rub my arm on it while pulling leaves off I stink , the back right plant has thrown some serious spears out ,feed is at 2ml a and b per l , ph is set to 5.8
Here a few few snaps :-

Re: Dutch Passion Jorge’s Diamonds #1
looks great in here and i reckon next run you will know better how to use the led,i find it to easy to cause a slow but serious damage to vegging plants with the @Forest qb and this can zap the fan leaves and so slow growth,my first was awful bleached!
you got some whopping spears so who needs leaves?peace

Re: Dutch Passion Jorge’s Diamonds #1
Evening fella , it’s not the qb Leds I have had issue with, I went away for 10 days and the res temps got hot . And ph rose to 8.4 so I recon the yellowing is sink deficiency ,duke wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 10:27 pmlooks great in here and i reckon next run you will know better how to use the led,i find it to easy to cause a slow but serious damage to vegging plants with the @Forest qb and this can zap the fan leaves and so slow growth,my first was awful bleached!

Do you find yourself adjusting the ph in the res frequently? Interesting how heat can cause a ph swing like that.

Re: Dutch Passion Jorge’s Diamonds #1
Generally speaking I only put 10l per tank in which does 2 days , so the ph doesn’t really have a chance to drift , it’s only over a long period of time the ph tends to go up I see ,
I don’t usually test the water in the tanks. Just measure the feed before putting it in

Ahh I gotchya. I just hope it isn't as bad as NFT...boy I wasn't prepared for that...the grow shop said it was a perfect system for beginners so thats what my first ever grow was with...it was sooo bad lol. I guess I've learnt the hard way about certain things..all good though. Can't believe how tall they are mate. How long did you leave in veg before flipping?Paul_led wrote: ↑Fri Aug 05, 2022 6:57 amGenerally speaking I only put 10l per tank in which does 2 days , so the ph doesn’t really have a chance to drift , it’s only over a long period of time the ph tends to go up I see ,
