Just enough to moisten the soil buddy. Moist not wet. Little and often if you can to maintain moisture. As little as it needs. It's difficult to gauge but you'll get it.

Morning troops so the 2 pots of GHO soil are coming on really well. I was wondering though do I trim it all down and leave the trim in the pot and just water over everything? Or do I just let it grow away? ImageImageImage

You can chop and drop, although best done in between cycles.
I chopped mine recently, used it in an FPJ to feed my plants through flower. Then threw some of the buck wheat hulls down to keep bugs down and water retention up.

I wouldn't worry. As long as they aren't taller than your cannabis plants lol

Lol cheers buddy. I still need to get some in there :(

Little update on the babies though, the 3 in the castings, sphagnum peat and buckwheat hulls with no amendments are starving, after the fulvic feed they have paled even more and starting to wilt away. However I planted another 2 in the same medium except I mixed the medium up with the amendments and they look real good and real nice healthy green colour. I am now watering those 2 babies on the same 11 day cycle that I have the 50L pots on, just tiny tiny amounts in each 1L pot each time. So fingers crossed these 2 keep going the way they are and I can hopefully get transplanting in a few weeks

Afternoon troops thought I'd do another wee update. The soil is ready to go and thriving at the minute as you can see lol. I have added 10 red worms and 5 nightcrawlers to each pot last week and since adding them it has def sped everything up. The little ones are also loving the soil mixed with the amendments and also being watered the same cycle as the two 50L pots. Attached a few pictures for you. They are growing each day which is what I wanna see

should mention when I was feeding the little ones the kelp mix it stained the leafs, but washed off again the next day when I watered with just water. Was def a lesson learnt. Also learning fast to water little amounts lol

Any advice fire away guys ImageImageImageImage
