Hey man

I added bleach the last time I did dwc, seemed to do the trick. Problem is you have to add it every day because it evaporates out
I bought a chlorine tester that measures in ppm so you can keep track of what's in the system. I think anything over .1ppm is playing with fire though (from what I've read)

It only took +-2ml added to 15 (US) gallons of ro water to bring me to .07 ppm

As far as the plant being too big for its roots, I think that's impossible in water bro. Hahaha
If it needs more roots it'll push them out. I grew a couple trees in dwc totes and the rootball could fit in a shopping bag

So as you can see, I have been busy this evening, after many hours of reading and thinking i decided to go back to vented! I have been reading about co2 burners in small sealed grooms poisoning the plants with ehtylene and the symptoms most people gave were exactly the same as mine, overfeeding/undefeeding/cal-mag/slow growth. We will soon find out if it is indeed my case! The PH and EC are not moving.

12 hours or so later and they are looking loads better and have drank a shed load of water! Turns out it was the co2 burner, must have not been a clean burn in a sealed environment!

stems turning green again from the bottom up, they are losing the purple stripes, EC and water dropped a bit, the dwarfs are starting to reach for the light again, the clone i have been waiting days and days to see roots through the small net pot seems to have grown a root overnight!
