Sorry for the lack of update peeps, life's been a bit hectic recently but I managed to grab some quick pics ( hence the shite quality ) when I was watering the ladies tonight and noticed the dreaded bud rot   .

Currently on day 61 temps are steady at 26-28 lights on and 22-24 lights off. Humidity is 55-60%.

So this grow is turning out like 2020, I cant wait for the fecker to be over . The sour garlic cookies is starting to fade and the Chocomania was but we will get to that later  . one of the Kalamata is looking like she's got 3 weeks ish left but the other looks like 5. Both are looking slightly ropey.

Chocomania OG. She could of done with another 7-10 days but I found the dreaded rot. You can see the yellow dead leaves in the top bud where rot has killed fluid flow. So I chopped her down tonight and ill keep a eye on the sour garlic cookies I'm not too fussed over the Kalamata as she has typical fluffy sativa buds. Smells like a ripe pink grapefruit with a soapy og background. Shame as she was on course to be a big ol'donkey dick cola

Kalamata red, the top pic is the furthest along. Starting to think two long flowering sativas in a 56 litre pot was a mistake

Image

Sour Garlic Cookies starting to fade hard, looks like she's got about 10-14 days left so around 11 weeks. Cant really see in the pics but she's starting to get some slight pinks and purples on her. Smells like dawg but with that typical sweet dough background from the cookies.

Thanks for looking in :thanks:

Alright shiny happy people, sorry for the lack of updates on this grow. Hope everyone had a cracking xmas and new year, I'm not going to lie there was too much drinking and smoking over the xmas :puff puff: and then I was fortunate to get some graft working away pretty much straight away in the new year hence the lack of updates.

Unfortunately this meant I had to get the only person I know and trust not to blab to look after the ladies but lets just say he isn't naturally green thumbed. Thing is the wife could easily have looked after them as she knows just as much as me after me battering her lug about it for years but I didn't think she would be happy looking after 3 kids and 2 plants  So I decided to cut my losses and cut the Kalamata reds down early which meant they were unsmokable for me so I binned them.

Being the optimistic guy I am I thought I would set up my mothers on my unused blumat system and all he would have to do would be keep the bucket filled up once a week. Well suffice to say I'm 3 mothers down :suicide: he filled the header tank up with a bucket I use for mixing soil in and lets just say 1.5mm tube doesn't like peat particles so my roadawg, and 2 copperhead skunks I was going to run one more to make a final decision on a keeper from wilted and dried out, luckily my ugorg#1, sour garlic cookies and chocomania og survived, just.

So when I got back, I lost my rag then cleaned out the system and set them up again. I've just about managed to scrounge 14 shitty cuts off them. I did try and source 16 cuts off the clone fairy till she told me her prices, now I've got 5 coming .

The sour garlic cookies from just before xmas, she got taken down between xmas and new year. I didn't grab any shots pre harvest. Some lovely pinks and purples but these didnt carry through to the final flower.

Some dry nug shots of the sour garlic cookies, ill be honest she is nothing special but I paid 120 quid for 10 seeds 4 of which hermed so I'm determined to get my moneys worth out of this so she's going to make the numbers up for my next run then she will probably go the way of the dodo as I've got runtz and apple fritter coming so they'll cover the cookies end of the spectrum for now.

Image

my bonsai-ish moms. In 3 litre pots of Bio Bizz light mix being fed 2ml per litre of shogun soil grow through the blumats. I cut them right back removing a lot of the damage from drought after taking some cuts, when there healthy I could easily take 10-15 cuts of these every 2-3 weeks but that's far too many for me so ill do this normally once a month then trim about 30% of the root ball off once a year and add new compost. This way I don't have to renew my mothers from cuts all the time. All this can be info can be found in a guide by the legendary ot1 from his overgrow days online through google, some cracking info and guides for bonsai moms if anyone's interested.

If its ok with the mods ill just keep this diary as a rolling grow diary :thanks:

@DIY.Rik cheers mate, like you say it could of been worse.

I ran hempys years ago but that was using a fytocell and perlite mix for a couple of runs but it wasn't for me. I prefer either hand bashing in coco or if going for full hydro then I always choose to run a diy rdwc system. I've seen some lads nail them though.

That was my last run in no till as well I'm going back into coco for the next one.

I tried the flower and she just put me on edge and made me a snappy fecker, its normally the case for me personally when anything is harvested early 0% high and 100% irritability
