Re: My first diary
I will say, when I check the stems and leaves now my hands are starting to smell.
The gorilla cookies has a classic "weed" smell but the critical Kush smells amazing - like pine and lemons. Cannot wait to try it.

Get yourself one of these for when the time comes. It'll allow you to have a good look at trichomes so you can decide on chop time. Patience is key, they put on most of their weight in the last couple weeks.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Re: My first diary
Perfect, thanks for that. I was going to get one this week or next along with some grove bags - that one looks better than the one I was looking at so I'll grab that one insteadHerbalist wrote:https://amzn.eu/d/9trSCmb

Hopefully I get a semi decent amount from them. They're big plants with lots of bud sites
the critical kush buds look very big compared to the cookies too.Sent from my moto g(50) using Tapatalk

Re: My first diary
Obviously take what im gonna say with a pinch of salt as I'm not in your tent, up close and personal. But, i dont see why you shouldn't get 1 - 1.5oz minimum from each being your first run. My first auto was cookies and cream from seedstockers, and i pulled 4 and a quarter off it.Pork Chop Express wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 9:14 am

If i was you though, i wouldn't be worried about yield, I'd be focusing on just completing the grow.
If you are worried about running out of bud, now would be a great time to pop another auto if you have beans laying about. That should start flowering around the time these are ready, roughly. Or pop a photoperiod and veg until these are done and then flip to flower.
Either way, just enjoy the journey.

I'll get another one planted today then in that case, I have Afghan Mass auto seeds ready to go. Definitely getting more critical kush seeds too because the smell is amazing.
I'll do just one plant at a time I think from now on. It's a bit crowded in there for my liking

Re: My first diary
Only such a low estimate as its your first grow and to not get your hopes up, then anything above is a bonus you see. I'll be surprised if you only pull 1 zipp from each plant but its better to be prepared than disappointed.Pork Chop Express wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 9:32 amDamn that's less than I was hoping lol.

You could beast out a single photoperiod in a scrog in that tent. Something like this.......
Easy peasy.
Fill the space wall to wall and maximise bud per square foot. This is how id go if only doing 1 at a time. Give it a couple grows and you'll settle yourself into a routine and growing style thats comfortable for you.

Re: My first diary
That's more like it lol. Amazing plant, well done sir!
I've got 4x Afghan mass seeds so I'll use those first then I'll try to do a photo plant after that I think. I have a net aswell so I'll finally get to use it.
I'm not fussed about HUGE yields, not like I'm trying to sell it or anything so it's just for me and I don't use alot. I'd just like enough to then be able to dismantle the tent and have some time off from growing in-between. Instead of running the setup all year round to keep me in supply - I'd like to have the patio doors open in the summer and enjoying the weather without a grow tent behind there lol

Re: My first diary
So, how much would you say you'd smoke in a month? Times that by 4 and that'll be roughly how much you need to last you between grows. (Bit less time if youre just doing autos) In my experience, (with secret jardin tent) packing away and setting up tents repeatedly wears away at the fabric and causes light leaks and weak points along creases. Not saying putting it away will fuck it but if you do make sure you do it as neatly as possible.
If you keep an eye on facebook, gumtree, ebay and the like, you could get a decent size wardrobe for dirt cheap. (Check out my wardrobe build viewtopic.php?f=13&t=19968 ) Then you could have your patio doors open whenever you like and noone will know. Short of that, you could disguise your tent with some posters or a nice throw blanket or something. I used to have a big wolf throw that i slung over the tent when i wanted the curtains open.

I'll have to keep an eye out on Facebook marketplace for anyone shifting a wardrobe for cheap - I swear I see people giving them away sometimes lol.
Thanks for the idea
