Good morning Hobbit. Yes they are pale than usual, simply because I am using nearly half of the base nutrients that I am usuall using. I've opted of using a bit higher PK. I usually do 1 ml per L hammerhead, but this time I've tried 1,5ml per L for 1 week. A&B base nutrients been low ever since mid-flower flush. I think Chiesel didn't like the higher PK (1.5ml per L) as I see some burnt tips.
It's a combination of heat (in the middle right under the HPS) which I always get simply because I am always struggling with height space. My HPS bulb is no more than 6'' away from the canopy. But also this time I've got a second tower fan blowing across the canopy pointed directly at the colas to help spread the heat from the hps. Them 2 tower fans are literally creating a storm in there, which is one of the reasons leaves are closing.
It's been kind of an experinment this grow. The Chiesel strain is less forgiving than the Exodus Cheese. So my next grow of Chiesel will be with a different approach hopefully.
After all it's been a good grow, they are feeding very well and bulking up. All buds are really dense & covered in trichomes. Flush to follow for 10 days and mon the scissors :)

P.S It's a new bulb as well & run it at super-lumens all the way through. Hence they are so close there is some light bleaching too! Mon the light!
Good morning Growroom420.
Some photos and a video to follow .
8 weeks 3 days flowering

Nice to have the luxury of getting your lights so close, envious i am. Even in winter id struggle, wonderng why until recently ive never considered an intake fan. I got plenty of spare extraction power, Im running an 8" ruck dialed down. That might make a difference and another fan blowin up a storm as you say. Got me thinking now as I got to vent in same room. I realize you lowered the base nutes, just wondering if your finding the less healthy foliage your running this grow, is affecting your flower growth. it has to be affecting photosynthesis and transpiration rates. You know this plant well whats your thoughts?

I'd believe they got all the nutrients they need to produce flowers, Just lowered the Nitrogen. I think buds are growing well, it's a first time growing the chisel so not sure how big they should be with a fully loaded nitrogen diet until the end. I do think it's normal leaves to start loosing their colour towards the end of the a plants life anyway though. Also doing it that way and having 10-14 days flush I am hoping for a very very clean smoke full of flavour :puff puff:

My thoughts were they still need photosynthesis to use those nutrients. I pushed those Nemesis in soil harder than Ive ever done with N. It was probably a contributing factor my moderate yield, i didnt think to put in my diary. Ahh first time, i got confused , following two diaries.

I also like to yellow mine towards the end of flower Bulls. If to green it takes a long time for the plant to pale even a 14 day flush is often not long enough.
Looking at the pictures your main course of the yellowing & canoing is the light is to close. 6" as you prob know is way to close for a 600w hps this will burn off the thc and bleach the buds lessoning the quality of it.
This is why leds imo produce better quality and more frosty buds. There is virtually no heat from under the light it's self.

I truly believe plants should be loaded wit enough nitrogen during veg and then they should use the stored nitrogen during flower. That nitrogen should be more than enough for them to photosynthesis.
If you keep giving them same doses of nitrogen in flower as in veg you are slowing down the flower production. Also I find plants to be more leafy if you overfeed with nitrogen during flower.
Another thing that tells me that less nitrogen is better is that I always do mid-flower flush 4 weeks after flip. The flower production always improves massively after that.
My buds are very decent size and currently I will give them 9/10 density ( I'd say 10 out of 10 but you will say I am over reacting) I'd see what they after drying. I think it will be a good harvest.

I Know but Not much I can do at the moment buddy. I can still hold my hand comfortable right between the bulb and the plants though? Must be the fact it's a parabolic shade and bulb is vertical, not horizontal.
