Let them grow into light a bit as well now if plants aren`t effected with no light type shit effecting them, then yes let plants grow right into them before resetting height of lights, maybe right down to as much as 12 inches, but aim at setting lights around 15 inches now they`re in bloom when you reset them. Simplified if it`s all good "don`t reset lights till its about 12-13 inches above plants and if plants look good at that then reset to 15 inches and so on and on and on..........Peeps opinions may differ but light depreciates shed loads with inches and im a great believer of "more light = more bud" come harvest.

If things are going good go with.................

18inch to 15inch for vegging (fair sized plants with plenty of rootage a bit higher for young seedlings.)

15inch to 12inch for bloom

Get a fan blowing across the tops of the canopy and below light straight as a die horizontally , so inbetween light and canopy horizontally, this will help spread heat around the room more evenly and hopefully prevent hotspots. :oik!:

Nice one! @2-Scoops you have been a font of green knowledge today my note books gone into melt down 😝 🧠 💥.

Ok I’ll drop them back down to about halfway between your recommended height at say 12 to 15” then and maintain that and continue to let em ‘ave it!.

I already have a desk fan in there too as well upside down hanging via two easy rollers and yes blowing across canopy nicely ✅.

I use a pot in a pot @FarmerGiles that`s slightly raised off ground and run waste straight into a bucket which is simply removed and emptied down shitter.

I think I'll be nicking this idea @2-Scoops. I'm short on a few parts for my run to waste system in the loft which us holding me up. I see wicked had a load of buckets for under a pound the other day. I'll pop up there and grab a few.

I had it running into 1 waste bucket here growing 8 plants under 2 x 600hps and 1 x 600 cree cob led @Keeno which i think would be a bob on idea growing in lofts. Only thing i`d do different here would be to use solid plastic tubing and not flexi tubing for long tube running to waste bucket from all plants.

And here it was using 5 gallon buckets with taps on from B&Q it was my personal; best 20oz+ i used to grow 3 x sensi seeds > jack herer this way for donkeys years under 2 x 600hps lights mate.

Weekly update for mr @2-Scoops and Co,

Took your advice on board and and from others too and got two growbag trays supported them at the rear with two wood wedges raising them approximately 3 inches this allows enough fall so I can collect the run off with a sponge 🧽 and remove.

I also had to remove some lower fan leaves just to give me enough access to water with my measuring jug all seems okay and I think it will now take less time to get in get done get out.

Just entering week 2 of bloom Ec 1.4 Ph 5.9/6.0

Remove a good few leaves from under canopy if your struggling with waterings @FarmerGiles , i know that feeling only too well whern it happens in my own grows, you should be able to remove up to a 3rd of plant without causing too much harm (shock) i mean ive removed nearly half plant before and no problems it didn`t even slow down the stretch of plants, they`re hardy sorts these "weed" plants are.

You`ll be removing all bottom 3rd totally of leafage and crappy stems in a few weeks anyhow when you put support net in, but i`ll get into that when needs be hey.... 8-)
