Would this work?

Hey troops hope you're all well. So I’m upgrading my groom from a 2x2 cramped attic grow space to a 4x3 custom built loft groom with way more head room and space (Which I will be building over the next 2 weeks) So I’m going to have to kit it out from scratch. What I was wondering is could I use a powerful portable air conditioner and An intake fan bringing fresh air possibly with another diffusair to achieve the environment instead of using a carbon filter extraction kit. Basically meaning the groom will be sealed with no extraction system and carbon filter etc. I have attached the air conditioner I have been looking at which is way over speced for the size of the space. And also a picture of the new grow space.

Means I would have to have fans in the groom moving any stale air around instead of the extraction kit removing the hot air.

Should mention as well I am going to purchase and use 4 CDM lights with ballasts in the new groom so temps shouldn’t be a problem or get too high

Any thoughts or advice is really appreciated troops, just trying to brainstorm the best way to kit the new groom out to achieve optimal environment and result

The only issue with that portable a/c is that it'll be blowing hot air right back into your grow space. Some more expensive ones come with an exhaust hose also, but since you're running a sealed room that wouldn't work anyways
Looks awesome though, that's a way bigger space than you have now

Oh by the way, if I were you I'd spend a little extra money on some insulation to throw on the ceiling. It'll help keep your space much cooler

Yeah dude it comes with an exhaust hose and I would just cut a 6inch hole in the wall and make sure it’s all sealed so all the hot air would be leaving the room

The plan is to so exactly what I have in my groom at the minute. I would be building h the frame and insulating the entire room and also the groom walls so the whole room would be insulated and sealed again

The only air that would leave would be the exhaust from the air conditioner but I don’t think it removes any of the air in the room, I think it’s just exhausting the heat produced from the machine

It smells out aircon. Some you can get inline carbon filters but I havent tried one.

Ya you're right, just looked into it more. As long as you get a dual hose unit you should be good to go
