Critical and Agent Orange having it large in a Greenqube!

Time for another diary and a strain I been dying to grow for a very long time. Before I had to take some time out due to health issues I was attempting a cycle which would have had me harvesting regular so I could take some time out through the summer. Life meant that went tits up and I'm behind where I planned to be. Given I only have 4 in my 2.4 x 1.2 I'm going to do away with my 1.2 x 1.2 veg tent and stick another 2.4 x 1.2 up.

Strains

Agent Orange and Critical. I've wanted to do both these strains for a long time. I know the ao is a keeper, critical was one of my favourite old school strains so fingers crossed they both do well.

Greenqube 2.4 x 1.2 x 2.0 grow tent
Rhino pro 600mm carbon filter
System air 150mm l1 fan for extraction.

The plan

The AO are clones and already rooted in 5in pots, the Critical are seeds and are just above ground. This may cause a timing issue so I'll have to get medieval with my bondage skills on the ao to keep them in check. No time schedule for these, they will take as long as they take. I'll be doing my normal heavy duty training and lots of topping

Summer temps bro you should be thinking on a cooler lighting system or temps will become the pain in your rear.

I'm dreading it already k but not in a position to go mad on lighting atm. We had some real hot days Daaaaarn saaaaaarf already and I've not broken 31c in the other 2.4 x 1.2 and it's in 1200w so I'm hoping I can wing it. Have the exo on 12/12 lights through the night and these on 400w veg, once in flower have these through the day lights on for 12/12, opposite to exo. I do have a aircon unit but I really dont want to go down that route unless completely necessary.

I'll play it by ear and see where I end up.

Wassup growers

Time to show these girls. The ao are in the airports, critical in the square pots. The ao are looking a bit rough as they were under them exo plants in the 1.2 so very little light and TLC in general. They are now under their own light and will get all the TLC they need.

Ao have been topped and will get some medieval bondage to let the critical catch up. They will be in this 1.2 for around 2 weeks while I get the new set up sorted.

I went to a hydroshop today and got bent over royally but I needed rootstim and a mh bulb today so had to pay through my nose and smile while they robbed me . They had no rootstim by plant magic so I was talked into a product called rootbastic. Its defo more pricey but is used at much lower ml per litre so I may give it a full run. I also got a sunmaster advanced mh bulb, I normally get omega or powerplant mh and I gotta say this one seems more intense and has a but more orange to it than the normal full blue of the other mg bulbs.

Feeding at 0.5ml per litre a and b, around 0.8ec, 5.8ph. I've added rootbastic at 0.25ml per litre. Temps at 24c, rh at 60%ish.

Update

Wasssssssssup grooooooooom! These are ticking away nicely atm. The critical will need some time to catch up but I do like some plant brutality which will slow down the ao. Ao got topped and are picking up from their sorry state buried under the exo canopy. Ao is in airports, critical in square pots. I hope to move these over to a shiny new 2.4 x 1.2 set up in the next 2 weeks. Currently getting fed 0.25ml per litre rootbastic, 0.5ml per litre canna coco a and b, ph set to 5.8.

Update

Wasssssssssssssssssssup Groom! A quick update for the AO and Critical.

The Agent orange is now starting to go mental so I've topped them all over. I'll start to flatten these over the next few days.

The critical are now settled and should start to get their legs on very soon.

Both are on the same feed, surprisingly the baby critical look like they could do with a higher ec as they are a little on the pale side, the ao is a nice green. I'll ip the feed slightly in ,, the, next res change.

Current feed is 0.25ml rootbastic, 0.5ml canna a and b per liter. PH set to 5.8.

400w advanced MH is on 24/0, temps 24c, rh 60%.
