Nan you going to mentor again? I might jump on that train as I am going to invest in NFT systems, I just can not see any other way of improving yields. Coco is lovely to grow in, but... Labour intensive as I am watering by hand at the minute. My irrigation system is still in a big crate someplace. Not in a space (head space) to face unpacking another effing crate.
I know mate looking forward to seeing them working, have only had them on a test 48hr run to bed it in, lovely light from her. Good luck lads on the NFT training, I’ll be tagging along for that for sure

If you want help with nft I will help but in all honesty it kindof just does itself for me 😂
One day I'll try Coco :)
My only issue is I'm moving. Last time I moved when the I Gerber went off it was off for a couple months and the new house only has a mobile signal in the attic 😂
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Just about to get the multi duct 8foot nft and the secret jardin dr300 tent. I've done plenty previous grows using aqua farms and the iws 36pot system (which is a terrible system and an expensive mistake) but I like the look of this NFT system looks easy to manage and control and less lugging media in and out of places and trying to get rid of. Been out the game for a couple of years since having kids but can't wait to get up and running again. My question is which lights to run was thinking 4x1000w hps with dimmable ballasts use metal halide for veg and 600w gativa bulbs for flower but I already own about ten 600w air cooled on magnetic ballasts and 5 600w leds. Is it worth investing another grand on new 1000w air cooled lights? Was impressed with the 60oz haul from Nanook
I reckon I can double that as its exactly double the size and I'll have 9 square metre in the new tent.

Watch the rules mate, that's why I've nothing up on here re it tbh. I went for it because it meant 1 chiller. 1 pump. 1 Res etc. I was going to scrog 8 tbh just to see what was possible but there's a 10 plant limit here remember for flowering, don't get in trouble...
I love mine, very easy to manage :) nft is by far the easiest system.imho :)

Ah right edited that out then. Aye they look brilliant done lots of research into them I spent over a grand on the last system iws36 and it was a nightmare ended up finishing with about 20 left the inner mesh nets were splitting and getting stuck in the hoses so plants weren't getting water and once you noticed it was too late so will probably sell it and try claw a bit of the money back. I'm gonna go for the 4x1000w dimmable hps I think get the humidifier and dehumidifier rigged up and heating/aircon and a hotbox co2 generator and get everything optimum not cutting any corners at all going heisenburg on this one can't wait

By the way do you use a nutrient chiller and a nutrient heater for the resivoir?

Hahaha make sure you can move enough air for them temps and can use that much leccy with reasoning... Hot tub etc.
I use a chiller yes inline. Don't try using the hose provided in the kit, use normal garden hose. The hard plastic doesn't clamp down on a chiller. Also I didn't use the hose channels in the middle of the channels... Tbh they are pointless. I ran my hose up the middle between them to the chiller, then split to the nozzles :)
