TEMPERATURE WHY IT IS IMPORTANT .

A suitable temperature is important for optimum plant activity. For top results, the temperature must be at least 20°C.
Temperatures above 30°C can cause problems with temperature sensitive types, certainly when this is combined with low humidity.
The temperature should be between 20°C and 30°C to avoid problems.
Below 15°C, the absorption capacity of the roots diminishes rapidly; the nutrient transport in the plant stagnates, reducing the yields.
The growth of the plant slows and the root system will be less fine (fewer branches and fewer root hairs). The first visual sign that the temperature is too low is purple coloration of the leaf stems, main veins and stem.
If the low temperatures persist for too long, leaves may also be malformed. The absorption of nitrate, phosphate, magnesium, potassium, iron and manganese is hindered most at low temperatures.
If the difference between the temperatures for the dark and light periods is too great, problems may arise immediately after the lamps are switched on. Leaves are warmed and water will start to evaporate. However, the roots are too cold to absorb sufficient water.
This will make the plant hang limply and perhaps wilt.Try to prevent major differences between night and day temperatures as much as possible (no more than a few degrees difference).
Maintaining an optimal root temperature is a precondition for good results.
An aquarium heating element with a thermostat can be used as a cheap way to maintain the temperature of your nutrient solution.

Week 6 from flip update.

When i opened the door this morning to the cupboard the AO decided to come out and greet me. I have tied some of the stems back to the support net with zip ties. I will need to get some string to support these if i can find some Where to tie them off to. Anyways res change done Dropped the EC this week to 1.2 but still adding the PK13/14 at 40ml to 50 liters of water then A & B to make up to desired EC Ph is set to 6.0.
The girls are getting the weight on now especially over the last few days.

The seedlings all but one are doing fine.

Hello kbag. How are you doing mate? Plants look awesome and seedlings/cuttings toO!
Do you use the pk 13/14 only at week 5/6 and use hammerhead during the rest of the flowering? You tend to do a great job on that AO always

I use pk13/14 basically all the way to week 6-7 . I do drop it if i feel the plants are maturing quickly or there is build up in the pots. Then just plain water and rhizo for a few days until white pistols start to punch out again.
The poor old cheese gets a little neglected as i can not help myself but feed to the AO needs more than the EXO. As i am using the wilma from now on it will be one strain only grows in the cupboard. The seedlings will be grown out in the tent.
Forgot to say i do not use hammerhead as Sam says im old school lol.

Everything is looking tip top apart from the dying seedling mate but what can you do. Amen.
Thanks for the heads up on the pk mate. I used to do it same way as you just kind of changed to hammerhead completely at some point

Quick comparison to a pint can of stella. The AO stems are 50 cm above the net way to high.

Very nice indeed kbag. I am hoping to see those beautiful huge Agent Orange colas in my tent next. It will be a real challenge growing the strain in a 1.6 tent lol.
p.s I am looking forward to Nanook commenting about you shaving your arms hahah

Will be potting these 5 plants up to day. I have run out of Veg nutes so need to get more of that today and root stim. I have been feeding them on flower nutes for the last five days :) .
