Crack seeds as normal - tbh you can PH the joffy pellets but I have never bothered.
Once you get a taproot I usually make the jiffy pellet hole slightly bigger, and very gently guide the taproot into it :)

So the coir pellets should I just use normal tap water with no nutes? My tap water background is really good it’s either at 0.0 or 0.1

Personally I dont use nutes until they have their first set of leaves. Water should be fine :)

Seeds are in the water as we speak and system is completely cleaned and ready to go. Just have to wait now until seeds are ready to be planted in the coir pellets

So I am using shogun nutrients

And the week 1 feed says
- hydrogrow A 10-20ml
- hydrogrow B 10-20ml
- Katana Roots 50ml. (Per 10litres of water)

(My reservoir is 50litres)

This is the manufacturers guidelines so I was going to half this, but I was wondering should I add 2ml of katana to the system since it is going to be a continual feed, I read somewhere that the 50ml of katana was for an initial boost for the roots for the likes of soaking ur pellets in for example.

I’ve attached the feeding chart that I would have used before but I’m up for changing or using what ever u reakon is best

I have to admit I have never used those nutes, but I would ignore all figures they give and go on EC. You could if you wanted try 1/2 strength root stim.

Yeah dude they are a pretty new brand I think but got recommended them and read quite few good reports. Fingers crossed lol I don’t mind having to change though mate, what ever u think is best.

Think katana roots are the same thing as root stim. And do you mean for soaking the pellets in a half strength root stim? I was thinking maybe the same thing. Then just half strength A+B and katana in the reservoir?

These roots usually don’t touch the water until half way through week 2 in my system so the only food they would get would be from the pellet and whatever solution splashed up onto the roots

Sorry for all the questions mate so do you mean only have ph water in my reservoir then with no nutes? And only half strength root stim in my pellet at the start?

Not too sure mate what u mean ‘go by EC’ my background EC is 0.0-0.1 so once my roots start to show through the net pot they get their food from the reservoir. Just wanna make sure I’m doing everything right mate because last grows I done a lot differently. I had a+b and katana roots in the reservoir waiting for the roots to come through.

But as I say I’m gonna do everything you tell me to mate
