Sorry if that was confusing Optic LED have these COB style lights, not technically chip on board but work in the same way with the samsung diodes close together in a compact circular board (Growmau5/ChiLED invented these but Optic added a couple of blues/extra reds). The boards fit onto the same pin fin heat sink as the Optic 1 COBs and they both have the same meanwell driver/output. The Optic 1 COB is more what you were refering to I think (they have the CREE CXB3590 COB) but I'm not actually using those atm. The main difference between the 2 is the Phantom 1 has more of a spread rather than a focused footprint, my COBs have the 120 degree lens but they also do a 90 degree, the COBs do have better penetration but the Phantom can be placed closer to plants so they can receive a higher PAR because the COBs can get fairly hot in comparison. I still use both the Optic 1 COBs and the Phantom 1 but mostly for veg, they are both 3500k spectrum so can be used in flower but they are only 54w. Very efficient tho even by todays standards and the COBs have just as long lifespan as the samsung chip, here are some pics:

@2-Scoops This is the original puck, its more comparable to the Optic Phantom/Phatslim XL because they are both run at 100w with twice as many diodes, the puck has the 301b diodes and less red/blues so it's a slightly less efficient spectrum but these were at one time some of the most efficient kits that you could buy and at a decent price. Not very easy to get in the UK tho when they first came out but I managed to get the Optics from this place https://www.ledgrowshop.eu/optic-led/ I really wanted the G-max 150 from Optic but it's impossible to get, tried ordering from the U.S but they wouldn't ship it because people from the UK would always complain that stuff was broken

That Dark Devil is a stunning strain. I grew the auto version years ago. Deep purples and pinks, I think it was my first purple strain.

I loved the old cobs. Me and Kbag run some blurple ones many moons ago. They were the best of the blurple ones I tested.

Yeh I've wanted to try it for a while but I don't normally grow autos, did them on this run as extras but I have enjoyed growing these and the DD is very nice to look at Also first time I'm trying anything from Sweet Seeds, they do a lot of purple strains mostly autos but a few have caught my attention. Gonna buy some Strawberry Cola Sherbert sometime in the near future, cheers mate
