How old / what stage are plants? Trying to garage led power at that distance based on plant progress. Cheers mukka2-Scoops wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:47 amSo these need potting asap but im waiting on my boiler being repaired hopefully in the morning, so they will have to wait aa day or few.
One of them has just about shook a 7 and croaked it, all fried up leafage. I cranked LED up to 100watt full power, it was set around 18 inches above plants, did that last week, maybe it was that feck knows tbh, but i only need 2 so were still good.
Cheers for looking in you guys

Re: Double Strawberry Diesel Jones
3 to 4 weeks old above ground or their about. TBH im far from convinced it is that, why wouldn't rest have have shown summink similar or symptoms. I'm unsure what it was cus feeds were bang on etc. I'm putting it down to damping off cus im clueless really and that seems a plausible excuse these days mate. Don't take it that LED light has caused, its just one thing out of many more things it could have been in all honestly. Pots a really small and roots are bursting out onto a tray full of old dried up white ferts salts could be another possible cause. Feck knows tbh mukka.

Re: Double Strawberry Diesel Jones
Maybe the light bro. I always start low on my 530 invisible. At 100% it draws 470w. And it's at the roof of my tent well about 30cm from top of a 2m tent. Pots are on ground under polystyrene about an inch thick. At those weeks I think I was on like 10 to 20% power. I tru to ease the plants in. Especially coming from a dual t5 light in a propagator. But again this is just theory bro. It's never obvious unless the leaves touch the diodes..and that's thr only visible damage I could see on my plant . Time will tell.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 8:41 am3 to 4 weeks old above ground or their about. Re: Double Strawberry Diesel Jones
Could be yes, but other plants are sound, anyhow i potted 2 of them up yesterday and put the 240watter bigger LED on them turned right down & set on lowest light setting, hung about 3 to 4ft above plants to be safe. Just checked to see if they are both ok and yes they look fine all be it a little droopy which i think is from roots being abused from me stuffing them into bigger pots. I have had them on 24/7 lighting too whilst they were in smaller pots for 3 weeks, but i always do that anyhow. They were put on 18/6 yesterday so when lights go out i will check half hour after they come on tonight, i find they usually standing to attention after a light break sat in dark during veg. They had better be ok anyhow cus other spare plant got binned yesterday. Anyhow im not too worried atmo bro, fingers crossed and squeaky bums aside and all that stuffwutang wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 7:21 pmMaybe the light bro. I always start low on my 530 invisible. Re: Double Strawberry Diesel Jones
I'm sure you'll be fine. These led lights can react differently with different plants. Look at these bleached buds..I've bent the fekkers over again but damage is done me thinks.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 12:40 pmCould be yes, but other plants are sound, anyhow i potted 2 of them up yesterday and put the 240watter bigger LED on them turned right down & set on lowest light setting, hung about 3 to 4ft above plants to be safe. Re: Double Strawberry Diesel Jones
You barely need any wattage for full veg I've found with led , I was using 60 watts 24 inches above plants and I vegged two plants in 30 litre pots ( in a 900 x 600 tent ) and the plants were the perfect structure I didn't use any extraction until the plants had filled the space it was really cheap and effective you have to be careful with the leds they can be too powerful in my limited experience

Re: Double Strawberry Diesel Jones
You dont wanna know
So last Monday night i stopped watering them and started foliar feeding twice daily an EC of 2.0 containing A&B, fulvic and silicon as well as bumping temps up to around 32c to help dry out pots more, what with plants drinking more water in heat and sweating out and all that typo stuff. Anyhow this morning pots are very light in weight and i am starting to see them grow a little again now with new growth green and leaves becoming bigger, so they`ve had their first soil feeds of 1litre A&B and Si today, the first since last Monday night and I've dropped foliar feeds. Lets hope problem is solved, but I've prolly knocked them back a week or two, tis what it is i suppose.
The biggest one wasn't effected as much as the smaller one but it was going that way, anyhow it got multi topped right back to same size as the more sickly plant and other was left with one topping that was done early on in their lives what with it looking rough as shit.
Lots of pictures may explain it better i suppose. Not much to see though cus they've been at a virtual standstill tbh.
Potted up 26/9/23
1/10/23
9/10/23
10/10/23
13/10/23
Long and short of it i think we back on track now. Touch wood amnd all that shit.
