Big Things Have Small Beginnings

Post by HGOG »

Hello all!
New to gr420 and I’m ready to rock and roll with what I hope will be a beautiful, glorious mess of a staggered grow-grow journal.
.
Quick backstory nobody asked for- I’m a relatively new homegrower doing all this on the down low as it’s “frowned upon” in these parts lol.
Ive been growing my own for about 5 years, started out on autos and did them for about 3 years straight before I tried a photoperiod.
At this point I run both autos and photos in a staggered grow between 2 tents.
.
I’ve got a couple different things going on currently, I’m experimenting with a new-to-me feed routine and relearning some of my old lights.
It’s a hot mess as I try to dial things in again lol.
.
I’m going to focus on some tastebudz and super natural seeds uk in this thread but I’ll toss out a few pics of the ethos grape diamonds I got in the 12/12 flip, she’s been heavily trained and is shaping up to be a pretty plant when she flowers.
.
For my records this is the start of the 4/20 cycle and we have….
1x super natural seeds ice cream cake photo in early veg.
1x tastebudz sticky mango auto in early veg.
1x tastebudz moon berry pie auto in early veg***
***I mauled this poor thing into early flower and I’m going to replace it with a fresh mbp seed.
We also have 1x ethos grape diamonds r2 at day 5ish of flip
.
Everything is looking pretty alright, my heavy hands and bad intentions aside lol.
I think I have sprayed enough words at all the poor forum peeps lol, so I’ll leave off here and try to toss a couple pics up.

Plants are looking good. You got uo love some plant bandage, and they will love you for it. I will definitely be tagging along. I'm planning my first Tastebudz run soon.

What sort of feed regime are you doing?

Thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words!
I hope it’s okay that I’ve dived right in to some grow journaling lol.
.
Most recent chops were a fast buds strawberry pie auto and a giant ethos thug roze photo.
The strawpie is one of my most favorite strains to grow and smoke.
And then there’s the monster ethos lol, dried it weighs right under a pound, easily the largest single plant harvest I’ve had to date.
It’s not quite as tasty as the strawpie but I am super pleased nonetheless!

That catches us up at least, at least the basics.
Thx for checking it out and glad to have found a safe spot to growshare!!’n

Alrighty then let’s get back on track with the 420 cycle, tastebudz and super natural seeds uk planties.
We just started wk4 with everybody and things are looking pretty good.
.
First off we have super natural seeds ice cream cake photo.
She got a fat topdressing with Gaia Green All Purpose and worm castings today and is looking pretty alright. Image

Next up we have tastebudz moon berry pie auto, she got a topdressing today as well, same as the icc photo
Image

And last but not least we have sticky mango auto.
This plant is on the goldleaf feed routine.
Image

I am super pleased with how these plants are growing, the fact they are still alive and kicking despite my heavy hands and bad intentions speaks to the excellent work the breeders are doing!!

Tastebudz Sticky Mango Auto wk4
Snipped the funky cut-leaves and opened her up a bit.
This plant is rocking along, showing her sexy bits but we aren’t yet stretching or going into flower.
This bodes well!
Goldleaf fed currently at 6ml/gal of tapwater.

Heya and thanks for the question!!
.
I am running 2 different feed routines currently.
My tried and trusted routine is goldleaf nutes for the NPK with some recharge and fishshit for bennies and microbes.
It’s a stellar stupid easy routine, no Ph’ing necessary, no dechlorinating tapwater before mixing etc. been on it for about 2 years straight now.
.
The second feed routine is something new to me, I am running a “supersoil” type grow using coco loco and Gaia green amendments plus the recharge and fishshit.
Thus far I am digging it as well, same deal no ph necessary, and I usually just use tapwater.
For feeds I am topdressing using worm castings and more of the Gaia Green mix(all purpose + power bloom + glacial dust)
