I thought it would be good to do an update on day 21 of bloom. Some light defoliation to open up the canopy to light - I took more off after taking this, mostly from the Ice Cream Cake, which had lots of massive fan leaves but only a few bud sites poking through, so fixed that.

Feed schedule is increased to 4 x per day for about a minute and PK booster added at half strength.

Most of the fan leaves on Unicorn Pop Drops show signs of LED burn on the tips as a result of going from 50% to 75% power. Dimming it back down to 50% prevented it progressing. All the other plants are coping fine. The Zkltzo (rear right) is very close to the light, maybe 3" in places but she loves it, showing no sign of stress whatsoever. Even the mutation during veg seems to be growing out she and seemed more sensitive to light than the others back then. Already has those Zkittlez terps that sometimes remind me of PVC.

I had to buy a thing for when I'm away. It's a puddle pump with an adjustable, automatic level sensor that sucks up water from as low as 1 mm depth then shuts itself off. It drains the run-off into the bath. All I need next is a 100L solid tank with a fairly small footprint (50 cm or less) so I can go away for more than 3 days, ideally one that's easy to get my hands in and clean or position pumps/heaters, etc. I'd be grateful if anyone can recommend something. I don't trust flexi-tanks so must be solid plastic. Was looking at cheap water butts from Wickes but are a bit tall to reach into and have small bases with rounded corners, so might not be great for placing tank heaters. This would be ideal if the lid was bigger or could lift it off: https://www.tanks-direct.co.uk/105-litr ... ower/p5993 ,but seems anything bigger than 50L with an open top needs side-support, like setting it into concrete or building a frame around it but haven't got space for that:

Hello GR420, time for my weekly update. They're on day 28 of bloom, pH 6.2, EC 1.8, and 4 feeds per day with bloom and half-strength PK boost. There is some LED burn on some leaves and some are very close to the light, so keeping the light dimmed to 50%.

Zkitzo is looking the most promising so far with larger, frostier, stinkier buds than the rest, yet was the worst looking plant during veg - all the close-up bud pics below are Zkitzo.

Thanks mate. I could but not something I'm comfortable with. You mean almost snap like super-cropping or just a gradual bend? The latter may not work with these now, they're quite woody and stiff. :rolf:

It's mainly Unicorn Pop Drops that's sensitive, the others mostly look fine. I'm not too bothered about the runty little Ice Cream Cake - I never wanted it anyway, thought it was Triangle Mints. The Orinoco has stretched as tall as the others now but not bothered about that either, wasn't the tasty pheno I was after, only kept it to see how it performed compared with soil-grown. So it's all about the two new big ladies, never tried either before and happy to let them dominate!

Like supercropping it will come back like an S bend, very much easier to do in bloom and less snappable (great word lol) than vegging plants, just make sure you dont catch stem with your nails when your crushing it with finger n thumb. Well that's if ya do it
